I dont think the team is going to give up on Diego after a year, especially considering the fact that team as a whole performed awfully. I think more realistic would be no Dzeko, but Amauri at forward and a trio of Gio-Diego-Cassano is possible.
Exactly!

Giving up on Diego is ridiculous. He is one of our best players. It's not his fault he has woodsmen for teammates.

i like that team alot, but there is a lack of italians in the squad, specifically in the starting eleven

beck is a full back. plays on right

And that's the point, there aren't any good italian players on market, so for buy any for sake of it.

Still that team is highly unlikely, I think that there is no way we gonna change three players at the back in our starting 11.

What will your starting back four look like, Oggy?

i don't want to get too much into this because i know the haters (not you) are going to come out and spill their hatorade, but juve's, and even milan's foundations have generally been built on a strong core of domestic talent if you look at their most successful spells in europe and domstically.

yeas, i agree we should not buy for the sake of buying, but we need to keep good players in mind. Another thing to keep in mind would be the possibile, however unlikely change of rules to the 6+5 in the future

What surgery?
that formation is good but cassano over diego????!!!!

diego over cassano any fukin day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really? Based on what season exactly? diego's last bremen season or cassano's last 2 seasons assisting and scoring goals galore? I don't want to lose diego, but I sure as hell would not say no to cassano either. Cassano is genius, diego still has to find his form.

Buffon, marchisio, ariaudo, chiellini, immobile, giovinco? not too bad.

you are on thin ice around these parts.

i agree to an extent. not for the fact that im "italian" but rather the italians that Juve tends to build on are usually some of the best (DP, old Zambro, old Canna, Buffon, Chiellini, now marchisio, hopefully giovinco, etc). You could go back decades if necessary. I get what your saying.

Your my boy, Blue.

My thought for this summer would be:

In:
Srna
Kjaer
Criscito
Cassano
Good physician

Out:
Legrottaglie
Salihamidžić
Camoranesi
Zebina
Grosso
Chimenti
Trezeguet

Starting XI:

Buffon

Srna - Kjaer - Chiellini - Criscito

Marchisio - Sissoko

Cassano - Diego - Giovinco

Amauri

Any thoughts on this?

I like it. But I would probably want melo in for sissoko. It's just painful sometimes watching sissoko trying to pass the ball. The guy is good at what he does but I feel like for that formation his passing would have to improve.
I agree with you on the passing, however I prefer Momo to Melo on his defence skills. The Creativity must come from the 3 in front of him and I believe Marchisio can add some to that.
Maybe, if the backs proof they can work together well, Sissoko's need isn't that high and Melo could be more qualified to play.
