so, if they don't kick us out, we are also playing in cl?
I guess in the end the CL will become insignificant or it will become the Super League's Coppa or FA Cup. If they kick us out, who would want to watch the CL where Getafe will be fighting with Napoli for a spot in the final? And if these team are fighting for the CL final spot, which teams will be fighting for the EL?

I am not as familiar with American sports but can someone tell me if parallels can be drawn to college football and the NFL?
Not really

I don't know why the comparison is to American sports at all.

It's essentially the same as the champions league but with bigger groups (two groups of 10) then it goes to a knock out. I mean I guess it's like the conferences in nba but really if that is the argument the nfl was the same as the champions league anyway.

This seems way too big to end up with some kind of agreement to change the CL instead of forming the SL. I think the clubs are 100% certain to go with it.
Oh this is happening. 100%. The posturing and gamesmanship is over. There is a civil war happening in football and I’m going to fucking enjoy this.

Forza the new Superleague. We gonna be rich kings baby.

The only similarity is that it’s a closed league like NFL and NBA.

Dortmund and Bayern are NOT joining TSL.

Life is too short to watch Bate fucking Borisov and similar clubs playing Juve all the time. Give me top games only! Fuck you Cheferin!
That's exactly why people hate this. Everyone had a chance to compete and everything was possible.
Also, we couldn't beat BATE Borisov in Belarus. 2-2.

I think we're not playing both CL and ESL at the same time. If you look at the announcement, it clearly states: "Midweek fixtures with all participating clubs continuing to compete in their respective national leagues, preserving the traditional domestic match calendar which remains at the heart of the club game.", nothing at all is said about CL besides "Going forward, the Founding Clubs look forward to holding discussions with UEFA and FIFA to work together in partnership to deliver the best outcomes for the new League and for football as a whole." which seems to indicate that nothing is concrete about CL yet, but the intention is to drop out of it

It's labeled as this because UEFA /FIFA controls the national associations and have a say in the management of the said Leagues.

Mourinho is officially sacked by Spurs. Seems they want to revamp themselves while being on the ESL bandwagon.

Its happening guys

Only reason Bayern is hesitating is because of the 50+1 rule.

If not for that we would be on the train already and probably as one of the frunt runners. The local Bayern fans got a lot of power in this matter and a big boycot of the club would probably come from those Germans.

Can they hire Platini as President as a final fuck you to uefa

I really dislike the fact that people are acting like UEFA are the little guy and all about tradition. The CL died after non champions could get into it.

I do think that they should say after 3-4 years the competition will go back to the top 2 of the league and the 3rd and 4th team playing off for a spot or something like that.
