I'd score the chance he had in the first half !! both shots were aimed straight at frey .. the goalie just had to hold his place to save the two shots ..!! the question is .. while Giovinco is "not as good as nedved" in the left wing, why CR doesn't fucking play with Giovinco instead of marchionni?

Freys a big dude and a good shot stopper...plus the defender was gettin in the way while marco was trying to sneak a shot in... its alot of pressure and he is only human... anyways i think marco is finding his form/confidence and will be back to his parma days in the next few games. It seems that CF is pushing marco to find his form since camo has been spending mad time with our outstanding physios. I dont blame him since we have CL coming up and who knows if camo will be available or if we get struck by more injuries

Im all for gio but imo the team has to be molded around him in order to gain his full potential... for instance he would thrive if poulson and sissoko played the middle while moli covered the left alowing him to roam.. it could also work on the right but cr would use him there if he had no other options...

So much for this player being fielded because he's "good defensively." He sucks defensively. In fact, he sucks at everything besides running. No point in fielding him besides filling of the eleven man team sheet.

Nobody should defend this player, especially with nonsense such as "he adds something defensively". It's an insult to some of your own intelligence to those that actually have some.

Marco's up for the Cup

Juventus midfielder Marco Marchionni has turned his attention to the Coppa Italia and hopes to repeat his efforts from the first leg against Lazio.

The Old Lady's Scudetto hopes are very faint as they still trail Inter by 10 points with just six games remaining.

But they are in the final four of the Cup, even if they have to overcome a 2-1 deficit on Wednesday evening.

I was delighted to score in the first leg and it was important to get an away goal,” Marchionni told Tuttosport.

Now we must be focused for the return game. Matches against Lazio are always difficult because they are very determined when they play against us.

“Unfortunately there is only the Coppa Italia left for us and we need to try and win this trophy for the 10th time.

“This is our only chance to win something important this season and we have been concentrating on it for a long time

His ball control is even worse then Grygera's, 4th match he comes 1-1 with the opposite goalkeeper and puts the ball too far from his feet....
he did it once and scored against roma in the first leg .. he tried to do it again against inter and failed .. fiorentina and failed .. and today :juventus:
