England must be favourites for the next World Cup because after Spain last won the Euros, England won the World Cup. :D

British bankers need to get off their asses and start planning some lighting storms and power outages of their own, for crying out loud.

One could say that this was an English victory. Torres, Reina, Xabi Alonso, Fàbregas and Arbeloa were all instrumental for the team, and they've all become the players they are by playing in the Premier League. Their English mentality spread within the squad and in the final, they were playing like an EPL team.

England, champions of Europe.

One of the English pundits suggested that the Spanish won because they were tougher mentally than in the past, due to having players in the EPL.
