My thinking was along the lines that if he immediately joins a new club, than it was already lined up b4 he resigned from Juventus, which doesn't scream loyality. Im just speculating, thats not my opinion on DD. I wanted him to stay.
As for his enthusiasm, DD was always shy of stating flat out that he would be Juventus' coach next season. To me, that seems to indicate he knew he would be gone all along, or that Juve had other plans once they reached serie a.

This is getting rather ludacris now...
There are people here giving titles like 'true juventino', selecting who's done what for the club... chill out !!!
First of all DD is a great value to the club as a player, but he played elsewhere and he coached elsewhere and his life doesn't end up with Juventus nor does it started with... Second the guy came to JUVENTUS (I didn't forget my caps lock on!), not Juventus went to the guy... We are not Olympic Lyon, nor Monaco or some other mediocre club... we ARE JUVENTUS. And DD can expect to be judged by his own results - and man do we had bad times these year. Yeah, we qualified for Seria A (cheers) but WE LACK:

So how is that DD the best manager for the club?
If WE ALLOW HIM TO DO WHAT YOUR CRACKED UP HEADS CONSIDER THE BEST TO DO (full Market POWER), HE WILL INVEST AROUND 70 MLN. AND THAT WILL BE ALL FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS!
Lippi has the image we need so we can sign really good players. We can get better sponsor deals, we can gain confidence... didn't you know that? Is it not what we need?
And secco doesn't need to prove himself to anyone here - he has proven to the right people and is positioned to the described place. HE is SUPERVISING the coach - which means he is not an amateur in the players market. And WE are just amateurs at a supporters' forum...you can do the math.
Hate him as much as you like, call dead peoples' names, stop supporting the club if you will - but that is the that - this is the management and they will change the coach as they see fit.
You just have to learn to get over it (much as DD had to).

first off all u don't know the next season plan .... even it is up to secco to sign new players so how should he have a next season plan when secco buy players he did not need?! 2nd nobody says give dd the full market power.... but a coach has to say which player fit in the squad and which not... 3rd is it better to spend 104 mil in players nobody need or 70 mil to strengths our squad? And why can we as JUVE only spend 70mil in the next 5 years?
