Well yeah, but that doesn't mean I can't follow Andy's logic. I disagree with Andy in the sense that I think we do have 15 good players. Not on the fact that he would be a poor signing if we didn't even have 15 good players. And TBH it IS quite debatable. I'm not too sure myself if we do have a quality core.
I agree with this logic or theory or whatever it is and I am not sure either that we have the quality core but I know for a fact that the transfer window has two more months and like every year we are linked with hundreds of players. That's why I ain't saying my opinion on the transfers yet and even after we are done with the transfer campaign, I won't be too judgmental as I have to see the players in official games as well.

player wise, why is Amauri or trez or delpie quality and Francesco Bumbalonni isn't.....
For me, depending on the position a player plays in, a quality player has to be above par in giving what he is supposed to do. Imagine a factory and a player is one station, good quality is good efficiency and consistency.

Andy is right about Knezevic.
He will not add anything extra..I know he was cheap and all, but getting a players like him will not bring anything to juve.
Also last season we had one of best attack's in a league , but reason why we did not finished on top was mainly because of defense.
Priority suppose to be defense..
Getting melberg who is solid but not super solid and now Knezevic, we will not fix our biggest problem.
I see chellini and melberg take CB positions, while we will have knezevic, andrade and few others who can play same positions on bench, even off the bench..when at the same time, we dont have replacement for molinaro , who is average LB.

If we bought Bocanegra and our management said he'd start every match as long as he's fit, would you blast the transfer?

You better be damn sure I would blast it. Bocanegra is terrible.

Why would they he'd start? It's up to the coach to choose the best players (Ranieri's judgment is something else now, not related to this discussion)

I'm not bringing that into the discussion. All I'm asking is would you wait and see before blasting the management signing Mary Kate Olsen as our 6th string goalkeeper.

Yes I would blast them but Knezevic is actually someone we need as Grygera won't play in the center and Andrade will not stay.

Now why shouldn't Grygera play? Because God Ranieri benched him? How about giving that guy a new lease on life after his first season with Juve and a great Euro tournament?

But nah, lets not do that, lets just sign useless backups and call it a success.

I'm not going to bash the guy by saying he brings nothing to the table. For Livorno he was pretty decent and that was when he was surrounded by mainly sub-standard players. Lets see how he plays in a team with more qualtity around him before we judge him.
Welcome:)

P.S when I said earlier this month that every team should have a croat i was dreaming of someone like Corluka, Kranjcar or Srna

Grygera will play AS RIGHT BACK. Why is this so hard to get?

Grygera doesnt need to be counted for CB and will not, because he will play RB, Andrade is a one legged due who has played 4 games in almost a year. So our CBs are Legro, Chiellini and Mellberg only, while competing in 3 competitions, so why isnt Knezevic needed as backup?
