yeah i remember camo used to be up and down like an elevator but nowadays he is a bit lazier, he loses the ball and doesnt chase it back, really frustrates me

Imho the future is the total midfielder who can attack and defend, Like Gerrard, Lampard and Sneijder (pushing the boat there.)

Lampard is far from the Total midfielder. Sneijder is pushing it and Gerrard is exactly what you describe.

I agree, but the defensive attitude is Juve. I would rather "smash" it forward and play defense, then wing the ball around. The Lippi system is the system I want. We had a ton of success. As did the national team. It is boring and it works. And it is the Juventus way. "Crapello" ran a VERY similar system, he just didn't have the personel prowess that Lippi had. DD runs a VERY similar system. He run what he knows. All coaches do. I like the DD system. We will do just fine with it, as long as we bring in players that fit the system.

It is the Argentenian in him. He is a hot head and is taking his frustration out on the pitch. Not in a good way. He was great for the Azzurri not too long ago. It isn't a matter of age, it is a matter of motivation. I disagree with his attitude, but I understand it. We shouldn't expect him to return.

In affect crap cheated to get the titles and we looked totally out of our depth in the CL.

I like DD and have trust in his management, but why do fans including the hardcore tifosi boo him and his tactics?

his tactics were brilliant in serie a there is no denying that, he was here for 2 years and for all of that time we were 1st in the table, even in week 2, he never spent anytime in a position lower than 1st. but in the champs league he showed that he had very little grasp of what to do when under pressure and this was ultimately his downfall, its the same reason he is losing it with real, he lacks the ability to adapt his system to counter other teams

I would agree with most of that. I wouldn't mind the 4312 but we have no Zidane. Juve is unsexy, defense first, build it up from the back. No matter how bad people want it to change it WONT. nor should it. Get over yourselves. Accept the Juve way.

Watch your language and get over it. I didn't say anything harsh. I said basically: Get over yourself, juve is not going to change just because you want them to. Ouch, what a scorcher.

I let that one slide earlier but I am not now. It was the same system. Zidane was so great that he added a "natural" element to the squad. There is no zidane anymore.

If in fact we were "cheating". If in fact we were doing something no one else was doing. Then I find it hard to beleive that it was a recent affair. Not a very legit argument there.

The fans boo the players he fields and the substitution choices. I have had my tactical questions too, but never question his overall philosophy and the general tactical idea. His personel choices leave a lot to be desired.

Right. Not his overall tactics. We aren't talking about mid game changes here. We are talking about systems and philosophies. Those are the tactics we are talking about. Not adjustments and special circumstances.

He is losing at Real because he is trying to take a team of out of control superstars and bring them under control.
