U're right, but
1- Elite CB....... Does Ivanovic work? or do u mean a more experienced one lika Canna or carvalho?
I might be in the minority here, but no, I don't think Ivanovic would work. To me, he is the same as Criscito, excellent potential, but untested and not elite yet. I would want someone more like Cannavaro and Carvalho, but younger if possible. If Barzagli can keep up his form... someone like him. Serie A proven should be top priority.
2- CM...... well we were all excited about Almiron who was believed he's the next Veron ,Nocerino as the next Gattuso and Tiago the only big signing, isn't it early to call the three flops? and what about loaned players like Marchisio?
Nocerino is still young and not quite there yet. Almiron was a bit of an underwhelming signing, and despite a strong start, doesn't appear to be Juve material. Tiago, I hold out a lot of hope for. The new player would be a complete threat to play with him, as well as Nocerino (assuming a 3 CM formation. Someone like Ballack, Gerrard, Lampard... in that mold, and of that caliber would be my pick. I would have preferred Marchisio to Almiron, I think he could be a complete midfielder too.
3- LWM ... Does any body see Diego as a LWM ? cuz everybody wants him and I dont know how he can replace Nedved
I think people see the right skills in Diego to be a LWM. He's like Nedved, where he can play in the middle or off to the side. Ideally, someone like Mancini or Vicente could be pried away, but I dunno if thats possible.
4- I don't think Palla and Gio will be in juve next year, Palla doesn't play, Gio isn't at juve now and he doesnt play either, I want them both at juve and get rid of Iaquinta, but it's my openion
Once Juventus returns to European competition (hopefully CL), the need for a bigger roster will be more apparent. I'm quite confident the team will return to carrying 5 forwards, and all will find time on the pitch, in Coppa, League or CL. Del Piero will likely retire by 2009, so space will be there for both long term.
