Elkan spent 400 milions on cricket
He didn't invest in a cricket.

A deal was done where Exor won the right to redevelop some property that happened to be owned by a cricket club.

It is an investment that they plan to make money off, not some goodwill gesture, so it is totally irrelevant when discussing his investing (or not investing) in Juve.

Yeah? And that debt has almost no effect on the club at all since we easier have more profit a year than debt repayments.

Or do you know nothing about economics?
'Easier', that's not quite truthful, unless you sell a player for £80m each season. Generally you (RFJV) are posting an operating loss after debt interest and PIK is finalised, but the Glazer's are doing some good work tightening the belt across the whole club. Still, the overall losses are not impressive. There is a plan in place but it's a lot of figure manipulating and speculating.

Tried to translate a bit from Russian site about Murdoch's intensions

"Javier Yakobelli words about the possible purchase of Juventus' Murdoch did not seem fantastic. We can assume that Elkann help Murdoch to seize the Formula-1, in return for sponsoring Juventus. At least, it is clear that they are tightly together. Murdoch is one of the richest and most influential people on the planet, and a longtime supporter of Juventus."

Anyone know why he's a supporter of Juventus? I am struggling to believe it.

Murdoch as boss would be awesome. Maybe we'd get Sky Sports as sponsors again and much more coverage on TV. Although I see a bright future for the Elkanns.

SKY and EXOR could enter into a new partnership to buy F1 ;)
im sure there is some sort of ruling against that since a lot of teams would see this as a conflict of interest with ferrari. I can't see ecclestone selling up especially since he has a lot of backing from most of the team bosses, having new owners could work against their interests.
