Tom:i didnt kno u were a goalie, hey what type , eccentric, or just a borin simple stuff keeper???I was a keeper when i was a kid, was pretty good, but i had the bad habbit of playin as a sweeper keepr, got me trouble way too many times, so i jus play outfield, cos when the teams losin i cant bear standin in goal, i feel i ned to go do sumink....

You gunna play sunday league or conference stuff??

P.s england, whatever you say, you gotta admit, we sucked, michael owen is not a captain,but he does his best to lead the line, even tho he aint that type of striker.......one idea for sven....

Ashley cole, left midfield..or even try barry,cos the first half was shocking, a total mess, excluding the goal (for slovakia), no creativity, no penetration nuffin, ashly cole, jus give him a serious go, not 20 minutes..

Even tho we won, our overall performance was bad, defensively and offensively...if we wont to win sumink, that aint no way to play.

    First Half we were abysmal. Should have been 3-0 to Slovakia :redface: second half we improved but my vision faded with every pint I can't really remember what happened but we won who cares!

    John, I am an eccentric keeper :D I often play off my line, like Barthez but i'm not a midget so I gets away with it more. Me and my mate are tryin to get trials with some semi-pro clubs, his dad knows quite a few managers we'll probably get in that way ;)

    I still do play regularly (actually haven't played since December cos of a cartilage injury - though I'lll try and play next week, but my knee is still weak) and compete in tournaments, but you know the feeling of "damn what if I kept playing, I might have played for the national team" etc? It's one of my regrets in life, I guess we all have them ;)

    Last nights game was a shocker until that fast guy came in (Darius Vassel). Am surprised that Beattie never gets a chance :rolleyes:

    heh, well i doubt i'll ever make it as a pro anyway but I'll keep on playing, even if its just for fun. You look and wonder how some of the England squad get their places though! I'm sure I could do a better job than some of them :D

    Ali, I agree we were awful until the second half, bailed out by Owen yet again.

    I could've watched Italy on the welsh channel but I thought better of it :D

    I stopped doing that this season during CL games (I can usually watch 2 or 3 different games here in the first group stage) cuz I missed all the goals :wallbang:
