Based on a novel by James Hadley Chase, i think. But it's one of the best hindi movies i've seen, mostly cos it's not like the rest of them.

It has one of the worst acting by an actor in the leading role... the best part is that you don't realize his acting is bad until you have seen the whole movie... thats how good the direction is...
