That's one sick lineup  And one sick generation may I add, with these guys living up to the expectations, i don't see the problems with future defenders for Azurri nor in any other position ;)

These guys are born in 1986 and younger, right?

Spain has Capel, Krkic, Pique, Sergio Ramos, Busquets, David Silva, Fabregas etc born in 1986 or younger.

France has Gourcuff, Nasri, Diaby, Benzema, Remy, Armand Traoré, Ben Arfa, Lloris, Moussa Sissoko etc

Argentina has Messi, Aguero, Banega, Zarate, Di Maria, Gago etc.

Even better than the azzurri imo

The defense is good, but lacks height (Motta 1.83 Santacroce 1.81 Bocchetti 1.78 Criscito 1.83) and is not powerful enough (A CD such as Chiello is terribly needed). The midfield is weak, IMO. The attack is good but somehow lacks the deciveness. Never like Acquafresca very much.

Its the whole lineup except Balotelli. In the regular squad, only De Silvestri, Balotelli and Santon are born after 87, and will remain. There are others also younger, but not been consistently called up as these 2(3).
