How's that last line. Calls Marotta a great professional who would be suitable as president and then goes onto to insinuate that probably Beppe is as corrupt as he is himself.
What a ridiculous idea that Juventus would want to make the Azzurri some kind of international branch for itself.
I'd be sad to see Beppe leave but he would take Italian football back to the top. Juve are going to remain competitive as always. He and Agnelli are the only Italian executives involved with Serie A that aren't senile egomaniacs.

Embarrassing for Italian football to always be looking for better alternatives instead of producing their own. Allan is next on the Oriundo list.

Still some weak elements to the squad, but with everyone fit it's still a good 16-strong with some quality. Over the next couple of years you'll see the good young players add to the squad and remove some of the dead weight like Acerbi, Giovinco, Zaza and the like.

There are loads of keepers to choose from, it won't be a 2-way battle between Donnarumma and Perin once everyone is fit.

Central defenders are a good selection. Fullbacks are weak because of quality and injuries, but there are also a few young ones like Pellegrini and Dimarco in the pipeline. If Florenzi and Spinazzola could stay fit they would be starters.

Midfield needs to be built around the group of Verratti, Bernardeschi, Barella, Chiesa and Jorginho, with the other squad players and promising players adding to that. Cristante, Mandragora and Zaniolo are there or thereabouts in that group, and I think there are possibly better players at U19 level as well (Tonali, Fagioli). This won't be a weak area for the Azzurri in future, but Verratti staying fit is an issue.

Forwards are and will continue to be an issue for at least 2-3 years, but Insigne. Belotti and Immobile provide some guarantees when fit, but at international level they need to step up to the role. There are lots of winger/SS types like Berardi,, SES, Politano, Verdi etc who have their uses and would be additional squad options. Cutrone looks interesting and could be important given some time, and a year or so behind him is the group of Kean, Pellegri and Favilli who are worth keeping an eye on.

For now though and probably 2-3 years this team will need to be moulded into a sum better than its parts.

you didn't mention Pellegrini on purpose or you forgot him? :D he's 22 and imo a lot closer to starting 11 than Barella, Mandragora or Zaniolo, strange to leave him out like that
