I don't say I don't care about it. I have pointed out many times that I get angry at those who negative rep without saying who, obviously I do care about it.

FWIW, as a mod I now have the ability to see who gave someone else negative rep (thanks to Marty and Keith). Before anyone goes blaming each other, the few cases where I looked something up showed that a lot of the neg rep comes from casual newbie posters none of us have ever heard of ... nor will probably hear from again. (And no, I don't think it's duplicate accounts.)

Would these posters dig a post from Nick Against the World thread, an old post I mean and give it a negative rep. I personally don't think so.

But I've personally seen evidence of people doing just that. In the few cases I followed up on, it's not uncommon for a guy with 30 posts to his name to neg rep something a month old.

From the mod interface, I do not get visibility into the threads where the rep comes from -- or even if the rep is positive or negative. But there is a pretty clear rep exchange going on between Jeeks, Fli, snoop, hambon, etc. You guys are like stock traders!
