Yup. That's why I have become so detached from the game. The 80s and 90s were iconic, even early 00s. Football now is so boring and predictable, and the element of fantasy is lost (but that's also probably nostalgia kicking in). The overall quality of players is worse too, notwithstanding Messi and Ronaldo (and in the case of the latter, he's a freak of nature a la Lebron in basketball, but you don't get that element of fantasy or beauty when you watch him play).

Take that ugly inbred Norweigan fisherman for example - he's currently the best striker in the world according to many (top 2), but I can name 10 strikers in the 90s who were better.

Maybe someone has a better memory - was Nedved this weak in his first season too? He was disappointing by those standards, today we have lower ones. But I don't remember anyone calling him Nedflop, like Flopmeiners.

Insisting on him to play as AM was always a risk as he never played there. Motta should have back to Yildiz as AM like in season beginning. Than put Koop as CM with Loca / Luiz / Thuram. Or at least Koop as CM and try Luiz as AM.

- shot accuracy from 55.56 to 36.84 %
- he is more conservative with his passes - upped his passing accuracy (81.57 % at Atalanta vs 88.7% at Juve), but changed the style of it - he is making 2 less long passes per 90 now, 4 less forward passes
