Oz. You were sometimes during the summer trying to get me to shut up. How do you think now the Napoletano did and the Interista doing?

Summer too soon because we hadnt kicked a ball yet. Half season is enough to gauge the progress, and it's been a huge let down.

For me biggiest dissapointment is the coach, because our play on the pitch is main issue, both his subs and lack of any real urgency or adaptability so far is frustrating to watch.

@Osman I get what you're saying but imo coach wouldn't make a big difference. Juve reminds me of United at some level. I'm not saying that Motta is fantastic but many of our transfers failed and what we currently have on the pitch doesn't have much to offer. Unfortunately our spendings of 100mln on 2 players were a total miss at this point. I'm quite surprised because Douglas was literally carrying Aston Villa on his own and was a total beast.

New coach might make a difference of small percentage but we simply have no synergy on the pitch, it's like players are suited for lesser clubs and smaller desire to win something. At this point sacking Motta wouldn't make me happier at all. Not because I think highly of him but it's just that I'm looking forward to seeing us make smart decisions when buying and selling players.

Please help me remind, but was Diego Ribas ever so bad at a certain point? For the past few months I've just witnessed a #10 with no playmaking abilities

Napoli last season finished 8th after winning league year before

Napoli this season back to first place after conte took over.

Chelsea finished 8th. Then conte came and won them epl title.

Imo coaching makes a huge difference.

No it's just teams eventually knew how to mark him out of the game and Juve had no plan B, was never his fault, just came at the wrong time, personally I loved him as a player, and Del Neri's 4-4-2 which clearly never suited him was the final straw post Ferrara/Zaccheroni era.

Yep..hence at a gun at atalanta...not a gun at juve.

- - - Updated - - -

it matters when you pay 60 million for a 20 million guy.
But you were implying buying the player from atalanta was the issue...not the amount. Unless i misunderstood your post? I dont disagree on the amount being high..hindsight is a beautiful thing though.

His ball control is hilarious... just stay the fuck back. Useless in the final 3rd. Cant do anything right like that pass to Mbangula. Disappointing half a season.
