Spending that kind of money on Gyokeres is risky, but he could be the striker we’ve been missing. I’ve watched him with Sporting and Sweden, he’s a beast.

Still we shouldn’t sign him at the expense of a solid midfielder. Plus, I’d be shocked if we beat the richer clubs to him. If Arsenal miss out on Sesko, they’ll likely snatch him up.

We can’t create proper chances and we have a noob for a coach. Definitely prefer a proven player like Osimhen over Gykores but both ade way too expensive.

Prefer a versatile under performing player at a discount like Darwin, especially if we’ll likely play Jihadball and will need them to “figure it out for themselves” without proper service

Gab Marcotti's latest piece on ESPN:

"What gets you excited about Vlahovic is the eye test. He's big (6-foot-3), strong and mean. He can run all day, he works his backside off and he has a ridiculously good left foot. Sure, he needs some nurturing, but the upside is huge."

LMFAO!!!

If I'm rating available strikers:

1. Osimhen
By a fucking mile.
2. Sesko
3. Gyokeres

Juventus Set Ambitious €150 Million Transfer Budget for Summer Overhaul

Juventus are preparing for a pivotal summer in the transfer market, with plans for significant changes to the squad but stopping short of a full-scale revolution. As outlined by club executive Damien Comolli, the approach will be one of targeted adjustments rather than wholesale changes. However, these adjustments are expected to be substantial, affecting multiple areas of the team.
A Squad in Need of Renewal
IlBianconero report how the club faces the challenge of rebuilding its attack, making mandatory additions on the flanks, expanding the midfield, and reinforcing both the defense and the attacking midfield. The Juventus management, which itself will see new faces added, is gearing up for a busy transfer window to provide coach Igor Tudor with a squad capable of competing on all fronts.
Transfer Strategy: Sales to Fund Purchases
A key element of Juventus’s strategy is to streamline the squad by offloading players who are no longer central to the club’s plans. This not only prevents the roster from becoming unwieldy but also generates crucial funds to reinvest in new signings. Many players are either expected to leave or are aware that their future at the club is uncertain.
Key Departures Expected
Among those likely to depart are high-profile names such as Douglas Luiz and Dusan Vlahovic, as well as younger players like Mbangula. Others, including Milik, Kelly, and players returning from loan spells like Rugani and Kostic, are also being considered for transfer. The club recognizes that not all departures will bring in large sums—players like Milik, Kostic, Perin, and Rugani may fetch modest fees, while Mbangula could command an offer in the region of €15 million. The sales of Douglas Luiz and Vlahovic, however, are expected to be particularly lucrative, potentially bringing in around €60 million.
Total Budget for the Summer Market
Juventus hopes to raise approximately €100 million from player sales, which would be added to an initial transfer budget of €50-60 million. This would give the club a total war chest exceeding €150 million to pursue major targets in attack, secure a top-quality wide player, and address needs across all departments of the squad

Keep an eye out on Theo Hernandez, we may go back in for him, possible swap deal with Dusan.

Also keep an eye on Yilmaz from Galatasaray.

#Vlahovic for Theo #Hernandez : #Juve and #Milan think about the sensational exchange Both expiring, both surplus to requirements and looking for a new team: this is how the Bianconeri and the Rossoneri would solve their respective problems.
Don't like this. I don't rate Theo that highly. Probs has 2-3 good years left in him and guy is super indisciplined. He's French but has that lolzillian in him. He would be an immediate upgrade, Theo and Cambiaso on the flanks sound great on paper but not a great long term signing.

He is a fantastic player. Would be an insane upgrade to what we have.
