I'd get rid of every single midfielder from Pirlo's season. That's where all our problems started. All of Ramsey, McKennie, Arthur, Rabiot, Bentancur have proven unworthy and dumb.
And I'd replace them all for a single midfielder who can control the tempo of the game. Like Pirlo did, like Pjanic did, like the Real midfielders are doing.
Exactly, Madrid won with Kroos and Modric keeping a cool head under pressure to find a pass and relieve the defense.

We need technical players with vision and a player to control the tempo of the game.

I always saw him as a big fish small pond type of player. When you throw him into the ocean he is not a big fish anymore but just a regular one.
Arthur, McKennie, Ramsey in his current condition, aren't even regular fish nor would they shine as De Paul did in Udinese or for Argentjna.

We don't need 23 superstars, but we need better players that are a good fit. His profile is perfect for Allegri and he is better than what we have in his role.

How did de Paul do at atletico this season?
Isn’t he like besties with Dybala? Doubt he would come here after Dybala left
Didn’t follow him too closely but i remember hearing some pundits talking at some point that he had adapted at Atletico and fits in well with their system, so i’d be surprised to hear him already looking to move on, unless he maybe ain’t getting along that well with Cholo afterall.

Im not saying we have great players while he sucks. Im just stating that he is good but not that amazing.
Arthur McK Ramsey should all be sold.
Arthur since he is useless, Ramsey since he is useless and mostly injured. McK since his value is way below what we can bring. I wouldnt mind him as a sub but we can fetch some money from him so why not.

P.S Locatelli is our only good and reliable midfielder.
Zakaria needs to play more in order to be properly evaluated while Fagioli Rovella didnt play for us yet. Hope they turn good for our use as well.

Yeah schalke knew how to use their players so well they won a trip to the german lower league
He doesn’t play as an attacking mid for the NT either. I don’t get why this is so hard to understand. But it does make me feel like he would be better off with a different manager who doesn’t play him out of position.

I’d say he could do better anywhere(even here with us) if he had managed to stay fit without getting injured for as long as he did this season as soon as he started a good run of form… or at least without returning having off field issues affecting him after going to play for the national team.

There’s many different ways that we can look at it.
