But that is my concern we definitely need to sign quality replacements if we sell De ligt.Hopefully bremer plus SMS Udogie.

How many did we win when Zidane was here? Didn't we have back to back group stage exits.Atleast we made champions League finals again after 5 years.
What a peasant. Selling Zidane was one of the worst decisions this club ever made. The bald genius was a sight to behold - his guile, finesse, and absolute command of the midfield was legendary. I remember pundits always saying Juventus have a chance to win as long as they have Zidane. What happened right after he left? He guided Real Madrid to the CL title the following season, scoring one of the greatest goals ever seen in a final. Alas, it wasn't meant to be. Sure, we reached one CL final after we sold him, but that was it.

With him in the team, we reached 2 consecutive finals and he carried us to the semis on one leg in 99. Yes, we suffered the ignominy of two group stage exits in 2000 and 2001, but it wasn't solely Zidane's fault. We still sucked in the CL in 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2006.

Zidane left in 2001. We made the CL Final in 2003. At least get your facts straight.

these are some depressing news :(
WTF is this shit?

How can anyone justify procuring that Jabroni POS plumberson failieri is beyond me. Prioritizing him over anyone is a crime - anyone endorsing this nonsense needs his/her head examined.

Fuck Agresti and Schira.

Don't you see the pattern? For 10 years all we do is create a problem and try to fix it. Every time we sell our best player we don't replace him with anyone as good. Who did we replace Pogba with, Vidal, Coman? You can't improve your team by letting go best players. This is small club mentality, freaking Lazio is able to hold on to SMS for many years now, I think we've been linked to him for 4-5 years now. I don't see city selling Foden, or Real Vinicious or name any top team. I guess we are not longer a top team. We had Cancelo, Romero, Spinazola, all of them would be starters at Juve. But the most important thing is plusvalenza.

Pogba, Higuain business was 'great'. We enforced attack and weakened midfield. Now you want to weaken defense (even more after chiellini departure) to strengthen midfield. I'm so fed up with this team.
If you sign Koulibaly for 40m and sell MDL for 100m you get the same quality or even better and have 60m to reinforce.

Yes I do think we made bad business and Ill add that replacing Pogba with Pjanic and Higuain wasnt enough.

I think we should use our money better but if we dont have a budget we need to sell and MDL can fetch way more than his true value.

He is young but should he be at Koulibaly's age he wouldnt even fetch 50m

What?
Selling Zidane was a great decision!
We could have used him for another year but then he would fetch 0 and go to Real.
We replaced him with Nedved winner of the golden ball and 2 other legendary players you might heard of.

No. It wasn't a great decision. It was inevitable because his wife wanted to move to Spain, but that doesn't make it a great decision. Whenever you sell a GOAT caliber player in his prime, it's never a great decision.

Snobist is completely right. You don't improve a weakend mediocre top team by selling one of your few top players...stop this vicious cycle.
Sounds like you boys are being critical of the club. This management is responsible for 9 of the last 11 scudetti. You should be more appreciative and less ungrateful you stupid fvcks.

What's next, we sell Chiesa and Vlahovic?
:agree:

We can’t plusvalenza Chiesa right now so we’ll have to calma and wait until 2 summers at least

If we can get a better team while filling the voids with players who are just as good then why not - Its only logical to do so.
Of course the ideal way is to improve the current team but if its not possible - yes we should do it.

- - - Updated - - -

It's a great ideea. He is paid as a top defender in Seria A and he isn't even top5 quality wise.
He is a top defender - There is no doubt about it but Koulibaly is just as good, would earn less and would cost a third of what we get from MDL...

No. He is not a top defender.
He is an error prone second tier defender on huge wages.
People are just blindsided by his presumably potential and grinta.
For example. He would not replace Chiello or Barzagli. He is a tier below them and dare I say even bonnuci which shows especially in big matches.
Up until now for us he is a bust. Simple as that.

I lol'ed. Koulibaly is just as good?
The level of delusion about de Ligt's ability right here.

Way too harsh. Anyway we'll get what we want when he's inevitably sold

Maybe. Being a starter for Juve comes with pressure and expectations.
So far he has failed.
He should play for a team like arsenal or Tottenham, where the pressure is way easier and where his mistakes would not matter so much.
I really think he would grow substantially in that kind of environment.

Nah he's better than that. If he goes any big club he'll shine. Don't underestimate how much the shittiness of this team weighs him down. Not many would have done better in his place. Koulibaly, probably. Bremer, doubtful.

I just hope he doesn't go Man U because he's exactly what they need and I will be so bitter watching him succeed there
