Did you just put De Ligt in same category as Ramsey, Rabiot?
Not the same.
But he is way over payed based on his performances.
You realized he is probably the best paid player in Seria A, yet he isn't even a top5 defender, let alone a top5 player overall.

I do wonder why you consider rabiot over payed. He isn't top5 midfield either so if de ligt deserves 12 I guess you can say rabiot deserves 7 million also.

Is he highest paid defender in the world? It is same situation when Zidane was here we were declining as a team with two group stage exits in champions League no scudetto we decide to cash in and sign players for different position to strengthen the overall team.

That's what I would do. Even if we manage to get 85 million for him I would still sell him.
He just isn't worth it and I don't have the patience to wait for him to come good 2-5 years from now.

How many champions leagues did we win since we made that super fantastic deal?

But that is my concern we definitely need to sign quality replacements if we sell De ligt.Hopefully bremer plus SMS Udogie.

How many did we win when Zidane was here? Didn't we have back to back group stage exits.Atleast we made champions League finals again after 5 years.

Bro, Zidane was a top mid and a top player overall in Seria A at the time. That's why he was sold for a record sum.
After the 1998 world cup he was probably considered the best midfielder in the world.
De Ligt isn't even top5 in his position in Seria A.
You can't compare the cases.

A more fair comparison would be if we would try to sell prime Chiello.
Even at 37 a fit Chiello is better than de ligt.

We signed Thuram at 29, Cannavaro at 29, Barzagli at 30. And they defenitely one of the best defenders in Juve history.

Anyone who thinks saying no to Koulibaly due to being 30 should go watch some youth football to get his kicks lol.
Yep, age isnt the same for everyone. Koulibaly is a athletic beast, its not like we getting Higgy who is overweight at 28. Koulibaly should last atleast 5 years
