Won trophies while having great statistical seasons, something Bruno who is fapped over could not sniff for example with better teams.

Nice qualifier with club football btw, have to pretend that WC did not happen.

Not saying Pogba was great for Utd or anything, but the standard he is held to is ridiculous. Just tells you how good he can be when his worst is someone else's best.

You would think he is dead and retirement ready the way some describe him. You would also think people learned on countless examples of players who left Utd recently not to judge them on their Utd careers.
Exactly.
Should he suck for France too I`d say he is finished but the difference between Man Utd and France is so big - it has to say something about him fitting to Man Utd.

Despite my liking for Pogba - he does has some bad aspects - For example if we get him we need others to defend him, he is sometimes more flair than effective but it doesnt take away the fact that with a proper midfield to defend him he could be a real beast.

The question is - Is he willing to take a paycut or is he going to be a money hoe and go to PSG.
There are more chances for the later although who knows.. He got his money and he could easily go to play in the MLS one day if he "needs" more...

I`d take him as I dont think Lazio will deal normally with SMS.

Its a curse that every other team in Serie A hate your guts. I wish we had Bayern type of relationship with the other clubs where they just respect them and bend over.

The most important is the incoming money for summer
Dont worry MDL will fetch enough for us. The only problem in that aspect is that we would need to find a replacement.
Considering MDL didnt make the impact I was hoping for (and maybe yours too) I dont think its such a bad move - on the contrary - We would only be better as a result.
I do however think Vlahovic`s money came from the upcoming sale so I dont expect any explosive signing unless its a free transfer.

I'd only let MdL to leave if someone will activate his release clause.

Pogba is a bum, a toxic bum, if we had someone like buffon still around then maybe maaaaaaybe I'll take a chance on him, otherwise it's just straight up delusional and foolish to want him here.
He will be well disciplined if he comes here. There aren't many 'gangsters' in this squad for him to piss about with, apart from Mckennie. This isn't a banter club like Manure.

So are or aren't you denying there are much better options out there?

That are realistic and available? Not even close.
So there's nothing better than a massively overpaid lazy midfielder who has some glimpses of class a few times a season and will have no resale value at all at the end of his contract. Got it.

If he halves his salary we can start talking. Anything else is making him our best paid player and would be daylight robbery.

Deals like Locatelli last summer are much better business for us.

SMS easily over Pogba for me too. Problem is even with a year remaining on his contract he's still at least a 35m investment + we pay full tax on his salary which wont be 3m either, so he might just be out of our reach. We'll definitely try, but I'm sure Lotito will happily sell to just about anyone before Juventus. We'd probably have to sell de Ligt to fund Sergej.

Pogba is easier if fatman doesnt want a heavy commission, wed probably have to offload Rabiot for him and thats a trade anyone would make. But who am I kidding, Raiola will try to milk every penny from free agent Pogba

Idc about resale value and Idc about what he did at Man Utd. Toxic environment that would have you believe no one but Bruno is a player good enough. Their 'deadwood' that they sold over the last 2-3 years won 20+ trophies while Utd is on it's worst run without a trophy in 48 years.

I know Pogba, I know Max and I know Didi Deschamps does not suffer fools and people who match your description.

Pogba had seasons at Utd where he led them in every single category. G/A contributions, tackles, passes, interceptions, created chances etc. He is not on the top, top level, don't get me wrong. But he is held to an impossible standard because he didn't save Utd by himself post SAF.

Unfortunately I have spent an unhealthy amount following that club, fans and EPL media last 2-3 years and I know what I'm talking about.

Give me your names who are better than Pogba to play in that advanced #8 role. And please don't say FDJ or Jorginho and push Locatelli up. Locatelli is fine in either role, but he is also better than any regista we can bring in and doesn't come close to Pogba in terms of creativity, goals, assists, presence in advanced positions.

Pogba if he could stay fit would be a good move for us.

Unfortunately we have just seen with Ramsey what happens when you sign injury prone players on high wages.
Orgut and others are so blinded by their Pogba love that they fail to see he had missed 67 matches due to injury over 2019-20, 2020-21, and 2021-22 season so far.

Ramsey, conversely missed 34 matches due to injury over his 3 seasons prior to joining Juventus.

But according to Orgut, Pogba has been nowhere near as injury prone and we should give him that 10 mil/year net.

I gladly take a less talented player who is still serious about his career.
:agree:

It’s a joke to defend players not giving a shit for multiple years, half-assing it, not showing any effort of work ethic over entire seasons and saying it’s the coach’s fault or the players they have to play with.

He’s getting paid a fortune to go out there and give his all on the pitch to help his team. And his shit attitude and lazy mentality means he rarely ever does. I hate players like him and Rabiot and the ridiculous excuses given for them not putting in the work. Clowns.

Fine, then let's just keep Rabiot.

I don't care how Pogba was years ago and how penalties bloated his stats. I care about performances now. It's not as if he was at United for a year or 2... He's going to be 29 next month. We've seen this before with the Higuain transfer. It's time to buy younger.

De Jong as a regista and pushing up Locatelli is a much better option than this. And if you really want an advanced midfielder, get a hungry one.
