if reports are to be believed that Juve contacted Zaniolo’s entourage in December, that kind of lines up with the time frame of them pulling/delaying Dybalas renewal, no?

Is Zaniolo seriously the only player in the world we could go for? The risk is just not worth it.
The potential reward is higher than the risk.

He will not cost a huge amount, he will not have a high salary. Yeah he might be broken, but he also might be the best player in the world if it pays off.

Hopefully we can negotiate a good loan plus obligation type of deal otherwise we would add another fragile player to the list.
Appearance based bonuses on top of a normal fee is the way to go imo.

He could be the most talented player out there but there isn’t much to defend for Roma after two ACL’s. And for sure Zaniolo will push for a transfer

Zaniolo is a huge gamble. You could get a player who could become one of the world's best at a decent price or you could get a players whose career goes the way of Giuseppe Rossi.

For the right price it could be worth it but you couldn't build a team around him, at least until he has proven himself to stay injury free for a few years.

Yeah agreed. We should do it Bayern style and wait a year or maybe even two for him to get for cheap or free. If he prefers to stay at Roma - fine.

Dropping shitload of cash for him wouldn't be wise, I agree.
