Mercato closing in a month.

We need to sell sell sell.
Are we getting a CM or not this is the big question
A.Sandro leaves?! We will get a replacement (hopefully Marcelo and not a meh one)
Higuain&Rugani - We are covered
So the only question remains is the CM

Man how much money can Chelsea spend? Jorginho, golovin, rugani, Higuain. That's close to 200mil. Either Willian and morata will go, or I don't see them buying higgy, that would be bad news

i wouldn't be surprised if hazard asked to leave. that transfer fee alone would cover these buys, so they'd need to sell some other players too just to free up some slots in the squad.

after pissing Conte off and falling behind with their small team net spend the past 2 years, I think they have saved some :D

I read somewhere the other day that Real would offer close to 240 mil for both Hazard and Courtois, crazy money. Michy Batshuayayay will probably be sold also, they will have enough money to dine in expensive restaurants... :D

They spent 200M last summer too.. It won't be hard for them even without selling their best asset in Hazard.

Can is Casemiro role wise, need a Kroos for sure.

IMO Pjanic is more Kroos than Modric. Can is definitely like Casemiro wrt playing style.

I say this because:
Pjanic plays primarily deep, relying on passing ability to move the play. He is probably defensively superior to Kroos but similar to Kroos, he doesn’t really run with the ball to connect the mid and the attack. Modric is an excellent passer but also has the work rate and legs to run with the ball. He is a unique midfielder due to his ability to play playmaker and box to box. Our glaring hole is box to box IMO.

How do you come to the conclusion that he is one of the best young CB around. He has shown very little in the years he has been here to justify that statement IMO.
By watching him play.

He had three legendary Juventus defenders in front of him when he came here. Not an easy situation to make your mark.

This season was disappointing from him, I expected (I think we all did) that Rugani would be a starter, but instead he got benched by Benatia and played even slightly less than Barzagli, especially in the defining moments of this season. Couldn't clinch his spot at the first half of season and once relegated to back up lost his confidence and looked shaky at the end of season as well.

That is simply not true. He lacks continuity, a little more dirtiness and assertiveness, but any big game he played here he was fantastic.

Apparently, Zizou is coming also. He'll be a sporting director and work closely with Paratici.
