It's actually simple. The release clause is 20 million.

I think we should definitely go for it.

Godin is 32. We signed Barzagli when he was 30 and this is his 8th season with us.
Been fapping for godin, since @Xperd said we interested im godin if benatia leaving.
But after ronaldo everybody is just okay-ish i guess.

Juventus, the elixir of otalian football :touched:

I’ve followed Juventus ever since I was able to watch football. My older brother has been Juventino since the 90’s, I had to jump on the train. So all I can say is that I was a juventino while we got relegated to Serie B, don’t think I’ve to say more.

I found this forums after constantly searching for updates on the Ronaldo transfer. I’ve been on a Swedish forums (Svenskafans) for 5-6 years.

Good to be here, don’t associate me with CR7 fans from Madrid :)
Welcome

Doubt it. Usually players who participate in summer tournaments don't travel to our summer games in the US.
On top of that Ronaldo was used to getting extensive summer breaks from Madrid. I think we'll do the same.

Why do you hope that? The worst thing to do is to favour players, which will lead to the rest of the players complaining about not getting the same treatment.

We have to respect him but still neutralize him. We don't want everything to be about Ronaldo, on pitch and outside pitch.

Where did I say I hope we will?

Considering how long he performes top notch over an entire season and ramps it up at the end

And the age, it is 33

i'd say fair enough.

This isnt burgerking. Its Ronaldo. He'll be in better shape and condition then any player of our team when he's back anyway

Atletico's Godin tops Juve shortlist
By Football Espana staff

Fresh after confirming the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus will attempt to land Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin this summer, say reports.

The Uruguayan international has a €20m release clause at Los Rojiblancos and his contract at the club expires next summer.

Tuttosport report the 32-year-old is now the prime target for the Bianconeri, who will move for his teammate Stefan Savic should such a move not come to fruition.

There are reports that Medhi Benatia – who has been linked to Arsenal and Olympique Marseille – will leave the Bianconeri this summer, leaving a gap in their squad.

Arsenal central defender Shkodran Mustafi is also said to be on the Old Lady’s shopping list.

I don't think the release clause is the problem. I'm guessing he doesn't want to leave atletico, he's a club legend there, and most likely will get the captaincy now that Gabi left. I can see him retiring there.
