You clearly never watched modric when he first joined spurs he was poor and spurs were willing to let him go for who was at the time a decent iaquinta a recent world cup winner with bags of pace and offered somerhing no other forward we had at the time had. Swapping him for a poor off form what looked to be a flop and money didnt look like a good deal. Has nothing to do with trust. He isn’t the first choice anymore and if these others come in he won’t be the second choice. All good things come to an end. Juventus is trying to rejuvenate the squad
