The only one arrogant is you. If what I said was so stupid it should be easy to refute it with facts, no? Ofc you can't because I'm talking about CL football where Dybala is nonexistent outside of one game. It's not a coincidence he was so dominant early on in the season and he crumbled first time he faced Messi and comparisons started again. He is a striker and a great finisher, not a player who can be the main man and lead the team where the coach can revolve everything around him and as such not indispensable.

I'm not saying get rid of him at all costs - just sell him if a great offer arrives. He has to play as a striker to get the best out of him, but we have too many wingers for that which leaves 4-4-2 as the only natural choice or what Allegri has been doing all year - try with something hybrid and hope Dybala can be out of this world and lead the team. Thus, it's not hard to imagine a situation in which we have better team production in a more natural setup while getting a WC midfielder in exchange. We would weaken our attack in the beginning but in the long run Bernardeschi will be a better player than Dybala.

Also, I don't really care about price comparisons with players like Dembele because -

1. He's not worth that money either
2. Barcelona was desperate and overpayed for him and Coutinho. I don't see many desperate teams out there this summer, but you never know.

IMO i see two options,

Sell Pjanic, go for a flat 4-4-2 by signing an all action technical midfielder partnering Matuidi/Can/whoever enabling us to use 2 of Berna, Costa and Cuadrado in the starting lineup regularly which also means enabling Dybala to play closer to goal

Or

Sell Dybala, sign two top midfielders, a promising striker who can takeover from Higuain(Martial)

Or, possibly an unfancied option considering we have many wingers,

Go for a 4-3-1-2, play Costa/Berna as TQ behind Dybala-Higuain and address the midfield weakness.

Kwadwo Asamoah looks set to leave the Bianconeri at the end of this season, while Alex Sandro could be sold.

While Leonardo Spinazzola looks set to return from Atalanta, Juve still need reinforcements on the left flank.

According to today’s Tuttosport, a deal for Bernat is possible, as he’s been told he has no future in Bavaria.

The Spaniard’s contract expires in 2019, so he could be available for a lower fee this year, while Bayern are looking at Cologne’s Hector.

I like this very much but we would need another player similar to Cuadrado who can be great on both ends in that formation. MDS is too defensive and that changes the whole dynamic and effectiveness of this formation. Also, we'd have to look for another LWB since I think there's no chance Sandro stays and I wouldn't give him huge enough of a payrise to convince him to stay since he was so unprofessional and shit this season.

Fabinho is the CM that we buy. I chose the two-man mid because the rest of our CMs are lame and shouldn't be starters. (Except maybe Matuidi, but I wouldn't mind sacrificing him for some extra attacking power).

What? Caldara has no international experience, no CL experience and have never played for at big club under immense pressure.

There's a reason Rugani has been the captain at youth level ahead of Caldara.

It can't be backed by hard facts this time, it's just a feeling, hence why i said imo. He looks like he's up to the task when i watch him for Atalanta, physicality and meanness (as PI said) adds to that impression. Imo he has the characteristics of a future leader.

As good and as cool as Rugani might already be, it's something i really miss when we face guys like Suarez or Ronaldo. I just don't trust him against those machines, not until he stops being mr nice guy (Which can be a problem, especially if you field two of those types at once) It might come with age, but it's not a given.

However, Rugani and Caldara look like they could compliment eachother in style similar to Barza and Chiello, which wouldn't exactly be a bad thing, we'll see.

Implicit: A 3-man backline requires an investment in a centreback.

Positive thing 'bout signing Emre Can and moving to a 3-man backline is that he is a capable sweeper/libero and a good option[if we need to chase a goal or two].

They're apparently dissatisfied how he shuffles his tactics too much (pretty ironic considering Dybala is the reason for that but cool).

Maybe stories but I heard them directly from within the club, so if a certain player's agent is lying or misinterpreting stuff then so am I.

But even if not for them it's not too hard to notice from interactions during games, videos from training, player statements where some guys never mention Allegri whereas others always do etc. And it's not only those 3 guys. Licht is pretty obvious, Marchisio too recently.

I blame it on the players just to be clear, they are never allowed to question the coach.
