Money is being invested (didnt we just spend 120 mil on berna, costa and matuidi?)

1) the club has only recently returned to profit after calciopoli, we sustained heavy losses in the secco era

2) money is being invested in salaries which have grown dramatically

3) money is being invested to build a sustainable business , j medical, j village, j academies etc
But we are also selling key players to balance figures we have weakened our midfield and defence we need to keep our key players so that there is continuity in the team and the gap between us and Bayern Munich Barcelona Real Madrid is reduced

But look at it at a granular level

-pirlo, tevez were done; we probably squeezed the most out of them performance wise

- vidal was off the field issues

- alves and bonucci were locker room issues

- pogba was a freebie we sold for a massive profit and he had become to big for his boots

Its not like we are actively trading in the market for the sake of it

If we sell Alex sandro or dybala are you going justify that also I am not against selling key players but we need to adequately replace them so that team remains competitive in Europe

Our own management(Allegri) openly stated that Vidal sale was a market opportunity

All those supposed issues attribute mainly to money. You need stop buying into these little media stories.

I think Sandro is just being professional here. See out this season and then decide on his next move.

I mean it's really fishy when one of your best performers of last season is not rewarded with a contract extension. Makes me feel that Beppe must have promised him his next move if he sees out this season professionally.

Perhaps we dint want to sell both Bonucci and Sandro in the same summer.

I'm sure if we sold Dybala he would be talking about his 'issues' with Allegri and his brother agent.

Ditto for Alex Sandro and 'issues' about itching for a move.

The fact is that the media will fabricate stories on wanted players to drive interest and clicks. It doesn't change the fact that the players were sold for money.

Alves
Pogba
Vidal
Pirlo
Bonnuci
Morata

are all gone and now we have Buffon to follow and potentially our director's want to cash in on Alex Sandro?

Transfer report: Chelsea target Alex Sandro ‘refusing to sign new Juventus contract’

By talkSPORT - @talkSPORT

Tuesday, December 5, 2017

Chelsea target Alex Sandro is still refusing to sign a new contract with Juventus, according to reports in Italy.

The left-back has been in talks with the Italian champions over fresh terms since September.

Chelsea tried and failed to sign the Brazilian in the summer and Juve wanted to reward him for staying with a hefty pay rise.

But, according to Calciomercato, Sandro is still rejecting the chance to put pen to paper on a contract extension.

The 26-year-old is reportedly haggling over bonuses and the duration of the deal, with other areas having been provisionally agreed.

That news will come as a boost to Chelsea, who are still tracking Sandro ahead of the January transfer window.

I think it is clear we need to make him one of our highest earners for him to sign the contract

I saw parallels with the caceres story so I feel there may be some truth to the off field issues. I've read he is quite the raucous party goer. And we know that doesnt sit well with the club.

Unless you have Ronaldo/Messi/Neymar, every player is replaceable.
If we sell Alex sandro then we will find an adaquate replacement.
Our management have a good track record of replacing world class stars.

The German media has also reported stories of Vidal drinking problem and late night partying

An 'adequate' replacement.

Tell me what left back in world football that we could sign is an 'adequate' replacement for Sandro?

Or do you mean someone not as good but mediocre?

Yes I am sure Bayern would trade Vidal for a straight laced Khedira in a heartbeat if we were only so kind
