It went up by just 3.6%, from .67 to .69. Stocks always fluctuate based on news. This isn't that big a jump.
Yup but I'll bet an arm it doesnt go up by 3.6% when we are rumoured to be interested in Emre Can and Cuadrado types. For a rumour about a close to impossible transfer thats a good signal.

Even without the stock chart at all, its fairly obvious that Ronaldo would boost our commercial value significantly.

But do we (as a football club) really gain anything from the stock raise?

IF CR really comes then only Sandro is a big loss. We will have to look for new LB.
What if Sandro changes his mind and decides he wants to stay and play with Cristiano and not with Lindegard and Felaini? The Ronaldo effect should not be underestimated, I highly doubt any of our players to actually ask to be sold.

No one should be worrying about if this is economically feasible for us. If we are moving for it, then we can be assured it's feasible. That's the first thing Marotta operates under.

It's not like suddenly we are going to blow our brains out financially as if we're drunk or Milan or something.
It's not if we'll be broke after it but how many players would we need to sell and who do we replace them with to make this happen. If you have to sell Pjanić, Sandro, Rugani etc. for this and then replace them with 'jabronis' then you didn't make much of an improvement. CR is best in the world, but even he couldn't win CL until RM started acting like a team and completed the roster around him.

Calcio e finanza predicts that if transfer fee is 105 million, contract 4 years, 68 million gross (30mill net) he would cost us 96 million ANNUALLY. For comparison, our 3 highest paid players (Higuain, Dybala, Costa), cost us less than 70 million.

Ofc, they also say we would see an increase of 30% from marketing, then ticket prices just got higher, more CL and TV money etc. We recorded a loss of 32 mill last year, with CR that would go to 126+. If we have best case scenario in revenues from stadium, marketing and TV rights we would need another 45 mill from player sales to break even, 25 if we win CL. So while it's not impossible financially, I just hope we don't deplete our entire team for this pipe dream. CR is CR but we can't put a Can-Bentancur-Khedira midfield behind him just to make it happen.

Like any company gains from an increase in valuation. Monies
such explanation much insight

Market valuation does not measure equity, at best a high market capitalizion signals a high popularity or draws other kinds of attention

But 99% it just reflects the williningness of investors to buy shares at this or that price.

SPORTMEDIASET: JUVE CHELSEA reach an agreement 60 milion euro for higuian
