The director of TeleLombardia, Fabio Ravezzani, announced it with a tweet: "On air with a resounding market news about Icardi and Inter". And resounding news was, according to Top Calcio 24, Inter have put the player on the market and even called Juventus to offer his captain . He and Wanda waited until yesterday for a phone call to discuss the renewal, but the Nerazzurri company would have refused even to start the speech. The call would have been with Juventus who have been offered the former Sampdoria striker.

Inside Inter there would be someone who would push to close with Icardi so as to stop the continuous pull and spring linked to the renewal, which comes on time every summer. So far, however, Ausilio and associates would have received zero offers and hence the attempt to offer it to the only team that in Italy could afford it. Also according to Ravezzani, the exchange with Higuain is unlikely, Inter could prefer more money and Mario Mandzukic .
