Let's agree to disagree.

In reality you are either clueless as to what 'good player' is or pretend to be. Another tantrum, another day eh.

You, Maddy, are right! We see him as a good player and United sees him as one too. That's why we haven't got him yet...

PS: I had not seen Maddy's idea of doubling his salary. Talking about babbling...

And you do save money by spending, this is the real life. You don't get a Ferrari, but you still get to drive to work with the Prius.
We are not talking about my opinion nor my ideas, so my alleged cluelessness is irrelevant; we are talking about what our management is doing and how they rate Darmian. That you are too daft to distinguish between those two aren't quite my problem, but what is left is that you claimed our management don't consider Darmian to be a good player, please provide an argument to why you are correct in regards to our management's evaluation of Darmian.

So far you have done nothing but derailing, just as you did by including my opinion in your argument despite I haven't voiced it in regards to Darmian in our discussion.

Furthermore it's not my idea that we are doubling his salary, as I wrote "rumoured" - you can see it here from xperd's post (rai the source): http://www.juventuz.com/threads/412...ester-United?p=5737725&viewfull=1#post5737725

So can you please let us know why our management do not think Darmian is a good player as you claimed?

You are not talking about the management, Maddy. Cause you are as clueless there as you could be. If you weren't they would be bad at their job and you would be too smart not to work as a Sporting Director.

We are talking about rumors and guesses. So does RAI occasionally, even other channels do it, you must have understood that in life at least.

I did include your opinion, cause you posted a RUMOR you believe to be TRUE. This seems in your logical head to be in perfect sync with the world, otherwise you'd discard it. Perhaps you were just blabbering then?

I base my 'uneducated' guess and 'stupid hypothesis' (or whatever smart thing you came up with) on the fact the 'good' player Darmian has been available for some time now and we haven't bought him. Perhaps he is so valued by United we are awaiting to run out his contract... He couldn't displace the better 33 year old Licht.

Good players, Maddy, are those that push a team forward. Surely no player in Juve is really bad compare to yours or mine footballing skills - you are right there- but not every player in the club is a 'good player' for that level. Darmian would not give anything 'extra' to this team and I think the management knows it, ergo I don't think they see him as a good player. Alas they cannot afford so 'save' as you have proposed and let a fan play even against fodders.

You are not talking about the management, Maddy. EDIT: removed all the red herring and ad hominem from the quote
This was what Vodka wrote

nah, it's so hard to get good wingbacks these days. Look, darmian is considered good by staff - what does that tell? We can't sell AS.
You respsonded

No one considers him good. They think he might turn out good and he is undervalued asset that could be used in any transfer. It seems quite probable us and United would be doing some trades sooner rather than later.
I responded

Wat? Are you telling me that Marotta doesn't consider Darmian good? Then there's no reason to sign him.

(Your theory about doing United a favour seems rather lacklustre; one year left on his contract, low salary, not a drama queen)
So yes, please provide an argument to why our management do not think Darmian is a good player as you claimed.

I still haven't voiced my opinion about Darmian even tho you try your hardest with your straw man arguments, they ain't working.

@Maddy I fail to see a problem there. Especially after I wrote a thesis on what I understand to be a good player (in my eyes and the management).

I would forever consider Darmian an opportunistic signing at best. Cover for cover - an insurance player. I don't think we need him that much either.

In short - I don't think the management consider him a good player, because they had ample opportunities to bring him up to now. Including Pogba's transfer and the whole arrival of MDS could have been avoided or postponed. They have done everything to suggest at best they see Darmian as a backup - and that by itself is not a 'good' player. No speculations on the future here, just facts from the past.

Caldara is way better than De Vrij who is in my humble opinion overrated. The only regret is that merdas got him for free, I would have loved to see him flop and be a waste of money.

He's nowhere near as bad as the aforementioned players. He was one of the best fullbacks in Italy before Man U purchased him. De Sciglio meanwhile was just 'potential' and we've got him to play solidly for us. Darmian would be an upgrade over Licht and Asa for me.
Have to agree. When Darmian was in Italy he was a beast. He went to England and took a shit. He could easily be very good here

He currently earns around 3.5mill € per year (gross). We are rumoured to offer him 4mill € (net), that is effectively a doubling.
I didn't say that. I said he will not earn 5 mil. And taxes in England are very fair when compared to the 50% of Italy so I'm not certain on the % but 3,5 gross might actually be more than 2 net for him...

Darmian was very good in Torino. He was their main man when they got into Europa League and the next season when they played there. I wanted him very much but three years ago 20mln was a lot of money and we already had Liecht and bought Sandro.

What? You responded to my post - where I wrote he is rumoured to have his salary doubled here - that he won't be getting 5m per year - something I've never claimed. You came up with that amount.

I then did the simple math for you: he is earning around 3.5m € in England (that's around 1.9 net [take-home pay]) and we are rumoured to offer him 4m € net, so either your original post was redundant or you just wrote soemthing out of your ass, which then makes your post even more redundant.
