i really hope Godin rumors are true. even if he was a cripple and unable to play for the entire season, the sole fact he would prevent us from getting Darmian for 15-20M would be worth it

No one is mental enough to replace AS with Darmian.

Only backup LB option we've is MDS, and he's very injury-prone and will also be sharing RB duties.

Assuming Darmian would be signed as AS replacement and not a backup makes no sense.

Go back to last season, watch matches without Pjanic, compare with what he played. You'll see what I'm talking about.
