Such a missed opportunity. Schick and Keita will hunt us badly in the future. Beppe overpays for average players while he penny pinches for real stars.

Schick is nothing to do with penny pinching. Keita is not needed.

5 for me

Upgraded attack, thank god. Shame Allegri takes 6 years to integrate players though.

Midfield, brought Matuidi in. Cool but expected more. Khedira's regressing and Marchisio might be finished. So we neglected it. Bad.

Defence. Lol. Raped our own defence. Lost a WC CB to our rivals for 32M and a WC RB for free even though we could've milked 10M easily.

If Bonucci was at any other big club he'd have fetched 60M minimum.
While I'm here Bonucci was €42m. Althought I realise if it was 52, 62 or 72 it probably wouldn't have altered what you are getting at.

Figure I seen was 32M in pounds.

So not much different. And my point would be slightly different if we sold him for what he's worth. If we absolutely had to sell him due to irreconcilable differences, then we had to get a proper fee for him.

Keita is not needed right now just like Verratti was not needed when we had the world class midfield that shortly disappeared after that. And Verratti is only in our wet dreams now. We can't spend big so we have to take the opportunity when it presents itself.

3 is generous, im not entirely bought on costa and tbh id have preferred fabinho over matuidi

schick was the only one I was genuinely excited about and ricardo pereira even if the rumours were perhaps weak
Agreed. Only i see something in Douglas Costa! Massive talent, Maybe we can give that last push to more clinical and become wq, the talent is there!

Would also have preferred Fabinho to Matuidi but i Think it was imposible due to non EU?

Biggest mistake is Schick! I dont understand it really.. we have one single attacker! One! Mandzukic as much as i love him is not good enough as striker to push Higuain! If he gets injuried or fatter We are fucked!

Atleast Im happy he didnt go to Napoli! That would have made them even more dangerous! I dont see Roma strong enough to compete right now.

I just dont get it how we could let him slide. What more do you want from an 21 year old?

Tall, strong, Quick, technique, good finishing skills and good attitude. Hes a massive talent! Very rare to combine a so tall man with technique and pace!

And if not him atleast keita. Between 30 - 40 for players with that talent is a steal these days!

I dont Care if keita had one year left, 30 for him is bargain! 30 for Schick is complete insane! Had they played in Premier league they would have cost atleast 70!

Keita is not in the same class as Verratti. He's a half striker, half winger with attitude problems. His finishing is pretty good for someone who is not a real #9 but the rest of his skills are not that great.

Jorge Martinez, Hernanes, Isla, endless loans of Melo to get no money, underselling Vidal, underselling Bonucci, selling Bonucci to a rival, underselling Tevez, underselling Dani Alves, underselling Llorente, agents fees on Pogba.....

I have a feeling missing on Schick and Keita, spending a huge chunk of our budget on Benatia could be on that list eventually.

Marotta has done an excellent job overall but he certainly has more than 3 mistakes.

I often wonder what other fans from say, Inter, Roma, Napoli, Milan, etc, think when they browse our forum and see claimed Juventus fans constantly moaning about Marotta and how provincial he is.

Probably is good to see RM forums and PSG forums! The fact that you're comparing Juve with Inter and other teams from Serie A tells a lot! There is no doubt that we're years ahead of other Serie A clubs.

We are not Inter and do not buy just to buy!

But Letting Shick slip is a massive blunder. If he truly has problems then ok, but I cant understand people are not seeing our striker problem. He was so needed, Young knowing he would be 2. Pick but with tonse of potential.

Im shocked we head in to this season with only one pure forward. Higuain break his leg next match, then What?

We didn't do anything wrong for not signing Schick.
Time will tell. I have a feeling it Will be the biggest mistake since Selling Henry.

Watch us loan matri one more time before deadline. Allegri knows heading in to a long season with one forward is surcide! Please dont mention Kean, we all know he will play Sturaro as forward before playing him as a starter .
