People hating on Marotta because he didn't overpay for players we don't need.

No one hates Marotta but if someone is to blame him for something is not overpay for players everyone needs like Mbappe 180M He`ll worth double that amount in a few years - He is young and amazing player..
Anyway We did overpay for a player we need D.Costa 50M when Draxler for example is probably available for much less - Same goes for Mr Di Maria

Keita is an opportunity no doubt. We shouldn't be so fucking stubborn. 20+ million for a player of his quality is ridiculously low, even if he is on the final year of his contract. We could easily sell him for 60-70 million in two seasons anyway. Isn't that what Marotta is all about? The Plusvalenza.

In any case, I want us to maintain good relations with Lazio, as they have quality players we can potentially use as early as next season. I'd rather the best talents stay in Serie A, since we can't get the best from the other leagues.

Summed up these last 10 pages. Why didn't Marotta pay 80m for two subs? This mercato sucks! It doesn't matter that we got Matuidi, Howedes and Szczesny for 40mil.


Sure they look promising but we can't go buying every talented player in the market and figure out later what we do with them.

Same thing happened with Verratti. He was basically ours and we fucked it up. Now he's worth at least 100m. We should have at least arranged Keita for free for next summer.
