There are players that you don't understand what they do in second class clubs for so long like Zieliński.
Zielinski is class though. He's done well enough in European level, good for his country too. Would like him here if we have the chance.

SMS just lacks that champion mentality that can bring his game to the next level

Well, TBF in Poland Zielinski is still considered a failure for NT also a guy is weak mentally, always shines for a club, but usually cant show it on the NT level. Im not in this group as I think he is doing as much as he can, when u look who is next to him, but I would never say he has a champion mentality.

Oh it was aimed for SMS only, that's why I wrote it in separate paragraph.
But still Zielinski has done much better in higher level compared to SMS

Yep, and he has generally been underwhelming for Napoli, like he is class and has the ability to be top level mid for them, as the key guy, but he never takes the next step. He is just content being a complimentary guy, as one of the better in the group instead of top key players.

Napoli has done like 2 different team changes since he been there, and most of them he is upstaged by his peers.

When has Zielinski done much better in higher level? They been in same league for most of their careers and SMS clearly been the better player?

This CL campaign is more or less first time Zielinski is doing better then his norm. Otherwise defenitely been a level lower then SMS.

Well you answer it yourself didnt you?
in WC Zielinski also did better for his NT.
I don't follow every Serie A games but whenever Juve - Lazio or Juve - Napoli playing,
IMO Zielinski is showing up more than SMS who often go invisible

good point

and some say gasp isn't a good coach lol. how come that his players rarely perform at similar levels after leaving him?
Gasp is definitely a good coach, just not for a club that aspires to win titles.

He's very good at managing his players, has a system, and Atalanta affords him all the patience in the world. There's low pressure and low expectations in that environment.

I think the question with him is his ability to make in game adjustments. Not gonna pretend like I have a full understanding of his tactics but it is harder to make adjustments when you have one specific system. Sarri was very similar with Napoli. He was great with players but he looked like an idiot anytime he had to make an adjustment when things weren’t working perfectly,

Evan N'dicka is under our radar again according to G. Alabanese
A left footed CB , this guy didnt want to leave last summer because he will be free and have his picking this summer. So we need to compete with high wages others clubs are going for him.

We also been recently linked with Laporte from City , another left footed CB.

Looks like we will try to sign a left footed CB finally this coming summer.
