Yes..it was a very matured interview and there is no doubt for me, that he means it. All the media is doing is picking up that last sentence, which is not more than a general statement.

Both parties r saying, that they want and like each other, but both r reserved and distanced. It perfectly descibes how important that upcoming season is going to be for Götze at Bayern.
Götze will stay indeed, but even if he left, Juve will not be the destination for sure. This super hyped wonderkid would see it as a step down, and would only go to EPL or the spanish duo.

Götze has never denied moving to Bayern one day. He is from Bavaria originally and I was sure, he ll come to Bayern it was just 1 year earlier than expected.
True, but if we go down this subjective slippery slope, he backstabbed Dortmund still that he spent pretty much his childhood til adulthood through for biggiest rival, even if obviously his fav team.

While what Vidal did is what? He said he wants to/will go to Bayern when he was in Leverkusen, but Völler and the pill pushers were super adamant that wont happen and took that option out of the board. To the point we got a fairly good bargain for him for just 10m. How is that much breaking your word enough that you insult the guys honour and word?

TS - Bookmakers give the Bianconeri as betting favorites on the next team for Götze, Juve placed at 2.00, almost impossible that the midfielder take other routes : Manchester United is already offered at 11,00, it rises to 17.00 for Arsenal or Chelsea

I'm not saying he's coming, but ffs I wish he would so all this negative, step down bs will stop
But its the reality, besides being reluctant to leave his cherished fav team as a german in a the all time level german club, why would he want to come to us right now when he has options? What do we offer that he cant get there and elsewhere? More desireable popular league? Better chances to win CL? Bigger salary? Pretty sure he answers no for all those 3 in his head.

You think he would say I'll think it over 10 days if the club rumoured was bigger more popular ones right now? Even if he wants to stay, wouldnt said that about Barca or Real etc.

Reality is you have no idea what the reality is. We're so far removed from the actual moves that were talking mostly speculation

yeah, very obvious that he is staying at Bayern for another year atleast. but this whole story has something behind it. Bayern giving us permission to talk to him, he himself saying weird stuff sometimes, him deciding to stay after all this fiasco etc. its not the usual "not for sale" situation, there is more behind it.

im assuming that we have talked to Gotze and his agent, and we probably presented our offer to him or agreed personal terms or something like that. then we and Bayern gave him time to decide whether he wants to join us or not. so maybe we have agreed something for the next summer since he decided he is staying in the end? you said this is his last chance at Bayern, if he doesent use it he will be going probably. maybe he accepted that challenge, wants to try to prove himself at Bayern still, wants to prove himself to Pep, wants to see if Guardiola will leave after this season and if a new coach arrives, what are his ideas with the team and with Mario etc. but he also probably wants to see how thing at Juve go, now that we sold 3 star players, the ambitions of the club, the players that will come/leave etc.

so i think if we made an agreement with him, that its for the next summer. if he screws up his last chance at Bayern, and if Juve would be still interested in getting him, that we already have agreed personal terms and dealing with Bayern then would be easy. just a theory :D

Can we sign a top player from Bayern, Barca and Real that have the option to stay or go to one of these either considered peak clubs or hugely inflated and popular EPL?

The reality is in what you answer to that. Thats what Götze is, even if a struggling one, thats his sitaution, stay for one last chance, or eventually move to what he would consider more appealing destinations, financially or otherwise.

Juventus will face competition from Arsenal if they are to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze.

The Bianconeri have spent the majority of the summer attempting to obtain the German’s signature, only for the Bavarians to insist the player will remain with the Bundesliga giants.

According to British newspaper, the Daily Express, Juventus will have to ward off competition from Arsenal with Arsene Wenger keen on a deal to take the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder to North London.

The Italian champions have been given fresh hope in their pursuit of the player after the 23-year-old cast doubt on his future by refusing to rule out an exit from the Allianz Arena.

Wenger has made one major signing in each of the last two summer transfer windows, completing big money deals for Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, but he has now turned his attention towards a €40 million move for Gotze as the Gunners attempt to build on their Community Shield triumph against Chelsea.

Gotze moved to Bayern in 2013 in a €37m deal after impressive performances at Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund, but his future in Bavaria is uncertain amid rumours of a deteriorating relationship with coach Pep Guardiola.

In regards to Barca and Real, he would basically be in the same position he is right now, except he would have to learn spanish.

With us, he is an instant starter and protagonist of a young and exciting attacking corps. I don't see how sitting on the bench at Real or Barca is more glorious than getting time out of his natural position playing for a coach that he may not see eye to eye with.

We can easily spend 40-60 million if we want and the player is right. We aren't sienna people

He never said it with certainty regarding Draxler. He said mentioned numbers are way too low. So if we get Draxler with 40m (very unlikely), he still would be right.
But I said several months ago, that it is impossible for Juve to get Draxler, so in that case I would say I have failed big time. If Götze would come, then I have deserved any punishment u guys want and nobody cannot take me serious anymore..me included.
