Marotta has to sign a world class midfielder & defender, if we are to be competitive this season. I rate our forwards, Mandzukic, Morata & Dybala. But after selling Vidal, we need at least one world class midfield player.

Schalke are asking for 35million. He is not worth 35million, he has'nt not done or proven anything to warrant that fee, unlike Vidal, Although he has the potentialto be even better. In my opinon we could get him for 25-30 million euros. You have to pay the top dollar for the best players around nowdays, otherswise other clubs will sign him, or you'll end up with an inferior player. My point is, your better off signing a world class player for 30million, than signing an average player for 15 million.

45M is nowhere near enough for Isco if he would even consider coming here. not sure what wages Silva is on, but i think he would have to take a paycut to come here. would he do it if he knows other clubs would match his current salary? i doubt.
