It's called a two week notice. Once the person says they are leaving, they should give you a notice to sort things out. Anyways, Marotta already has that covered thanks to those already signed for our midfield.
Exactly. He should've held the deal until he finds a proper replacement. Bayern probably did their shit right and as soon they knew Schweinsteiger wanted to leave they engaged in negotiations with Vidal's agent.

If Marotta signed Khedira as Vidal's replacement, then it's worse than I thought.

And funny enough, he just panicked looking for an AM after selling Vidal. So probably not the plan.

Marotta has done great things and a few bad things so far, but the good ones outweigh the bad ones by far.

But any mercato move is different from the last one and can be judged by itself, regardless who did it - I don't care if i's Marotta or Jesus Christ.

This is looking very bad so far, possibly the worst in 4 years. Let's see how it ends, there's still time. I just don't see a great AM available to come. Actually not getting Draxler might be equal to dodging a bullet.

I mean, if the solution came to doing what Inter is doing - loaning Jovetic for 2 years = paying 3M now + 12M in 2017, with reasonable salaries - that's a decent bet for the AM position, until you can get your hands in Isco or something someday.
