love cavani, but i think he should go for about 20-25(ibra money to psg)
Oh, I agree that this would be ideal price for him. He might be a little old even now to go for 45 mil, but... I think that price in big part is the fact PSG paid 60 for him.

That being said, I think he'd kill it here. His CL stats for PSG have been pretty damn good. 10 goals in 17 matches. And we all know how he would do in a front 2 with a player like Tevez next year. He'd crush it!

cavani is overtated. misses so many chances in the champions league especially.
WHAT?!?! Crazy talk.

Does this smell like a Beppe transfer to you? I think you are being post-ironic

After we receive our compensation from FIGC and pay the remaining investment in Con-dildos project we should have enough money to buy Cavani and bench him. He would be a long-term Padoin replacement for us.

I hope we get Oscar without selling Pogba. I think Oscar would be better at Juventus than he is at Chelsea just given the fact we would have 3 midfielders defending behind him in a trequartista role. At Chelsea he is asked to do more defensive work because of their 2 winger system.. he has Matic and Cesc behind him but has to drop back and defend more than he would here.

I watched him play in some brazil friendlies and he looks a lot better with less defensive responsibility. He would play in a Kaka type role here in a diamond midfield.. it would totally suit him.

Yeah, he is a decent player, still very young and can still develop well, but I don't know if he is a real LB, more a Bale (at the beginning of his career) LWB or even LF type of player IMO.
Well that's the kind of attacking fullback we need. Someone who can go forward and pacy enough to effectively run back when needed, apart from many other requirements.

He's really just an attacker and waaaaaaay off the quality Juventus should seek. He's not even a starter in Bruges and if he does, it's as an attacking winger...

I dont understand the People who wants Oscar?? All we need is a player that Can beat his opponent.. Same goes for cavani. He is fantastic, but if we keep our current squad, the only must is a trequartists with skills!!

Actually for the Seleção he's been playing as a defensive ponta-esquerda, almost as a third volante when we change formations. Meaning he's still stuck to defensive responsabilities and drops back just as much.

I don't think He's all that good but i also don't think he's a bad player at all like some here do. But he's far from being my Trequartista of choice. I'd rather have someone with a different set of skills and much more agressive and offensive-minded.

Oscar would be unreasonably expensive for us. Yet I think he would be a great fit for a 4-1-2-1-2 system, but I would prefer wingers. Not a huge fan of the two running midfielders (usually Pogba and Vidal) going out wide to link up with a full-back that just had a 50+ meters sprint.

Oscar has some screaming long shots, but we've got that covered if Pogba is not too far wide.

I think we seriously need to invest in a top full back who is comfortable attacking if we're persisting with 4-3-1-2

Sell deadwood, buy Dybala, Darmian or Alex Sandro and whichever CAM we can afford.

Plus the standard bench revamp and juggling squad players.

people saying oscar is too defnesive minded and wont be a good attacking mid is like people saying tevez is a bad forward because he gets back into juve's half and tackles the shit out of players.

Dybala, full back, cam with good last pass and we're good. And keep Romulo on loan for next season.

I hope your "people" doesn't include me cause that's not what i said at all. Of course he can be a good attacking mid with more of a offensive mindset than he does now.

In fact i've known Oscar since his Internacional/São Paulo days and he was a CAM in both teams. It wasn't until Mourinho/Felipão than he was forced to have defensive duties and drop back more often than not.

Still, not my trequartista of choice.

We need sooooo many transfers to rebuilt the team.
Barzagli, Buffon, Licht, LB, Pirlo, Tevez will leave soon..plus some bench players.
What? We do just fine without Barzagli... Look at our defensive record this year. Barza is nice to have fit, but he certainly isn't someone we are desperate need of replacing, considering how rock solid at the back we are. Buffon has easily 2-3 more years. Pirlo arguably isn't even a starter, as Marchisio has now surpassed him in his role. Lichtsteiner is leaving? Asamoah is young and quite a good LB still.

In terms of starting XI, we don't need to replace anyone this coming summer, aside from potentially investing in LB, if we move Asamoah back into the middle.

The next summer, Tevez obviously needs replacement. Aside from him? We'll be bringing Rugani back this summer or the next, so Barza is already replaced for free. Cacares is a pretty RB to rotate with Licht and isn't that old. As I said Pirlo doesn't need replacement. And Buffon won't be quite ready to retire yet. Our management is doing a fine job. Slowly replacing and upgrading our Starting XI each year.
