It's fashionable in this forum, but don't underrate a healthy Ramsey just because he is a gooner/EPL player . When we had Vidal and a great Pirlo of previous seasons he wouldn't have a chance, now only one of our midfielders who would bench him for sure is just Pogba. While he is similar level to Marchisio, but better box to box, offensive game then Claudio, deadly /creatively well rounded player.

Not been reading for a few days. Is Draxler really off or is this more pantomine posturing from their coach? Are we linked with anybody else, or are we already at the kind-of-quite-good Serie A players stage?

Inler only wants Fiorentina

Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler reportedly turned down Watford and Leicester City because he wants Fiorentina.

The Swiss international is on the exit ramp following a revamp of the midfield under new Coach Maurizio Sarri.

Transfer fees worth €4m:)shocked:) had been agreed with Watford and Leicester City, but Inler rejected both options.

According to La Nazione newspaper, this is because he has his heart set on staying in Serie A with Fiorentina.

The Viola do need new blood in the middle of the park after releasing David Pizarro, Alberto Aquilani and Jasmin Kurtic.

It’s reported Inler could complete the transfer to Florence next week.

You may be kidding, but I would much prefer a healthy dynamic Ramsey over a fairly simplistic Khedira. Exceptional passer, fantastic technique, smart with timed runs and tidy finishing, and more and more become the engine of the midfield with added hard working defensive capabilities. Just all around grown and developed to everything a complete midfielder needs, but too bad he is the perfect example of a near world class potential midfielder who is completely stunted by injury proness. As soon as he develops to another level and hits a real stride of consistent quality, he has to start over from the beginning after huge injury setback. Quite a shame really.
