And....a $#@!ing brilliant player and sublime playmaker.

Such an insanely silky player, very low key and understated despite being one of the stars of the game, he rarely gets much fuss made about him despite being one of the few players that is of unquestionably great quality. Hence why you have someone talk down on him for age?

We signed Nedved when he was 29...
NEVER ever been a fan of spanish players. but this guy this guy!!! closest thing to Aimar, he is so classy. he is underrated but maybe because he doesn't play for Real or Barca. i would take him if he is cheap. and to people who talk about age, look at vidal!

Llorente no Man Utd, just Madrid

According to Italian reports, Juventus striker Fernando Llorente will reject Manchester United, as he wants Real Madrid.

The Spanish forward is on the exit list in Turin following the arrival of Mario Mandzukic, Simone Zaza and Paulo Dybala.

The Daily Mirror claim that Manchester United have been working on a bid for the tall centre-forward for some time.

However, Sport Mediaset insist Llorente is prepared to turn down Manchester United because he is determined to join Real Madrid.

It would be a return to La Liga for the hitman, who joined Juve as a free agent from Athletic Bilbao two years ago.

Vidal is good example since he is just leaving evidently because we dont want to pay the salary Bayern will. The fact we got him 4 years ago was brilliant, but apparently more due to the complete aversion Leverkusen had for selling to Bayern then us offering as well as them.

Morata is not relevant whatsoever to the scenario since no one competed with us for his signing, was just a young upstart who wanted to start his career for real. In fact, the fact we were completely forced into bitch of a clause that gurantees they can get him any time in 2-3 summers in a row, pretty much shows how we arent really in a position to compete with them for players, even in players they dont want/sell to us.

It will NOT free up Silva, he is brilliant and not going anywhere.

This obsession with youth.. We have world class players easily play well until they're 35. Silva is 29 and in incredible shape. Surely we could get another three, four good years out of him.

Silva? You guys have no shame. Even if they get KDB he'll cost shitload of money.
He would be very expensive, yes.

That was before the insane focus on youth and resale value.

If we can get him , Yes go and get him. But they're not going to Give silva to us. He's going to be very expensive. and for that money I'd rather have a young player.

ok guys, let's all take some chillax pills: from my normally reliable source, decisions will not be taken before the first week in august, especially because the Vidal deal is not exactly casted in gold seal considering that Bayern wants a full satisfying medical on the player before going ahead. There is a pre-contract but should the medicals be unsatisfactory, there will be a whole range of new scenarios to consider. Obvioulsy Marotta and Paratici are trying to cover our asses and are looking to sing pre-deals with an adequate replacement. Having said all of that, nothing will be cast in stone before early august
