So the story apparently goes that Bayern reached an agreement with Vidsl, but Guardiola called up Allegri to inform him of the same and let him know that there was going to be a bid for the player too. During this call, Allegri enquires about Gotze, and Juve identify him as a candidate for the AM.

While Juve like him, it seems that his engagement is an issue. He's on 7net, Juve offering 6m including bonuses. So Juve also looking at alternate options. Draxler was a hot name a few years ago for them, and one of the lower options this season, but given his parameters of fee and wage, could become a primary target. Oscar has been rejected by Chelsea thus far. And Isco is an approach that's possible.

gazzetta still pushing the Götze angle, guess they want to sell more papers.
Most probably, but at this point more or less all papers/media know shit.

I mean out of nowhere tuttosport report about Vidal to Bayern and next thing you know everyone confirms it.

That shit has been going for at least couple of weeks probably while the media were in dark.

I for one belive that the AM / winger we want is already decided, we are waiting for Vidal to be official for us to announce it too, like Bayern waited for Shweini.

Pedulla says Marotta is moving in for Augsburg Baba . Well that's a LB I like to see not Alex Sandro.
Considering our recent relation with south america, i find it hard to disagree

Tbh, that 1 million in wage is MUCH bigger the the gap in quality between Gotze and all the mentionned players

Yeah mandzukic' defense is a great trait. He will put a lot of pressure on defenders. Both tevez and mandzukic are engines but tevez doesn't have the defensive/pressure abilities of mandzukic.
Tevez is the more talented player with a better skill set tho. Don't just praise one guy (because we happened to buy him) while failing to highlight the merits of the other.

Well hopefully this is somewhat true so there is a chance we could still go through with it

The question is, if Bayern allowed Goetze to leave, and we managed to agree a fee with them, is he going to want to come here? A lot of big IFs and BUTs

Why not just a straight vidal-gotze swap?
Goetze is in the 50-60 million bracket. I guess for giving Bayern Vidal, we might be able to get him for 45 (provided he accepts a switch here), but not for less. He is still only 23 years old as well.

See, this is what i'm thinking here

Gotze costs more then Vidal, when looking at market value for both.

We could have sold vidal for a "bad" price, but demand the money all at once

We could have bought Götze for a "good" price, and pay it in installments of wich the total is quite a bit more then the vidal money
