Draxler was a hot name a few years ago for them, and one of the lower options this season, but given his parameters of fee and wage, could become a primary target. Oscar has been rejected by Chelsea thus far. And Isco is an approach that's possible.

Tbh, that 1 million in wage is MUCH bigger the the gap in quality between Gotze and all the mentionned players

Yeah mandzukic' defense is a great trait. He will put a lot of pressure on defenders. Both tevez and mandzukic are engines but tevez doesn't have the defensive/pressure abilities of mandzukic.

Tevez is the more talented player with a better skill set tho. Don't just praise one guy (because we happened to buy him) while failing to highlight the merits of the other.

Why not just a straight vidal-gotze swap?

Goetze is in the 50-60 million bracket. I guess for giving Bayern Vidal, we might be able to get him for 45 (provided he accepts a switch here), but not for less. He is still only 23 years old as well.

Gotze costs more then Vidal, when looking at market value for both.


We could have sold vidal for a "bad" price, but demand the money all at once

We could have bought Götze for a "good" price, and pay it in installments of wich the total is quite a bit more then the vidal money
