41% is not exactly a minor ammount, thats almost half of decisions being incorrect, either that refs are actually partially blind, or just plain biased 41% is ridiculous, id be interested to know the percentages of past seasons
Simply not true. 41% is an extremely high margin, which is why I have always called for science to help referees, but it's about the same in every other league.

I have the feeling that this season will be the least "honest" season we ve seen in the last decade...
The balance of powers is broken.
i fear you are correct cronios, i see juve been denied lots of penalties next season from refs scared to award us anything for fear of accusation:cry:

Inter is in political control and have been for a long time. This still doesn't help them from being natural born losers. They will choke.
nah juve will be handicapped for a few years by these refs, and i can see milan being conned also

some leagues are worse than others andries, trust me. rangers and celtic get so many penalties and dodgy decisions its pointless moaning about it anymore, it has just become fact

end of the day, refs are humans, cant get everything right, and pressure from the fans doesnt help but 41% is simply unacceptable. My only problem with technology in football is how it will break up the game more, ofcourse its used in rugby, cricket and other sports, but football is probably the only free flowing sport

true , Technology would simply not work with football as it would really slow down the game and make it very dull and uninteresting . But the question is , do we really want the refereeing to flawless ? imagine a game where every call is 100% acuurate and diving , handballs ..etc.. would be nonexistent .

I think technology would kill a huge part of the game , the fun of it , yes 41% is too much but i don't like the idea of making refereeing perfect .

In football there are not many goals. Every wrong offside decisions influences the outcome of a game. I'm really surprised that this is rarely a topic.

well heres my solution:

remove collina from his new post, and install moggi and the world will be a happier place, for a juventino at least

You all know Seven is right, right?
Well, I bloody am on this one. 41% proves nothing. They didn't compare to other leagues, they didn't compare to history and they didn't say lots of games are influenced by dodgy decisions even when refs would do their best not to. It's ridiculous to look into this.

What is clear though, is that technology has a place in football. Offside decisions can easily be made by a computer, flawlessly and just as fast as they are made by man right now. Fouls will always be a matter of discussion and I don't want some computer judging the entire game right now, but offside or a ball crossing the line can easily be judged without slowing the game down.

Just as long as the decisions are made very quickly so as to avoid slowing the game. I don't want a game like American Football where there are long pause all the time.
