I don't care guys, as I said I wasn't reading it, just saying that I agreed with Ian on this.
How can you agree on something that you know nothing about?

Seriously, at least try to make sense from time to time.

It's not the same. Anyone can sign up at Juventuz (except Seven), and everyone can read everything. But members who could read NATW were chosen among themselves.
Not originally. The thread was only passworded so that the mods wouldn't shut it down. All you needed to do was ask for a password.

Basically, all the people that posted in there (moderation free after the pass) now post all over the forum. The what are you doing, what's for lunch, and all the other crazy threads in this place were developed from guys who posted in that thread or had passwords. Saying it's elitist is just silly.

The idea is elitist, not the members... I guess.

Aaron, you're saying we got more freedom around and less tight moderation thanks to NATW? Good shit

I take it back then... I didn't know anyone could have the password if asked.

I still don't understand how it happened. Why was it passworded?
What Enron said, and people started posting pictures and offensive stuff in there, so the mods didn't want to deal with it. You'd basically have porn being posted at times. So instead of closing it, which would probably have made Pado leave, the mods passworded it so that they didn't have the trouble moderating it.

That is the story.

Yes, treating people with contempt make you a proper fan.
It's not that that makes me a proper fan.

What makes me a proper fan is the fact that I support my local team, go to as many games as I can and don't give up on them just because I don't give up on them because of minor details like the team being rubbish or not liking the way the club is run.

Anyway, I see that you have Rangers among your favoured teams. That tells me all I need to know about you and you won't be hearing from me again.

That's my opinion too.

Cause when it comes down to it everyone in this place (unless someone is from Torino) is a glory hunter.

Yeah and people who didn't know about the thread would stumble into it become severely insulted and surprised and usually a fight would ensue. Etc, Etc.

@Fred: I was going to tell the tale over the PM since it would be quite long, but Andy popped the short version.

At times it was because of Nick being a Milanista, so folks would start insulting him and mods would have to do their business with both of them.

Ah, kinda like what happened to gsols thread.

They are my reasons, and they make enough sense to me. I feel that I've been misunderstood to a point, but I shall no longer try to justify it. I realize that I'm on a Juve forum and y'all obviously don't agree with me, otherwise you'd have done the same as I did. That being said, I thought that I could come on here, every now and again, and post some things or respond to some things football related, even just for old times sake. Guess there's no room here for "gloryhunting douchebags" like me...POINT TAKEN.
You went from supporting Juventus to supporting Barcelona and loving the whole Catalunya thing? Since 2006? Wow, you a huuuuuge Barca fan. Go boy.

Man, I don't get this whole gloryhunter talk. Nothing wrong with recognizing quality and sticking with it. All Shakespeare fans are gloryhunters?

Now if you don't do the underlined part, then yes, you are a true gloryhunter *cough* Ian *cough* :seven:
