meh, the difference between the two isn't as big as you guys make it out to be imo. Sure Buffon on form is better than any other keeper out there, but Casillas is a world class keeper on his own right, he's just unlucky to be playing at the same time as Buffon.

DP was great in his time, but i don't want another Arshavin(a player past it, and comes to Arsenal), i very strongly doubt Wenger is really interested in him. I'd be all over it if this was at least 3 years ago, but now....

There are certain aspects of the game that I think Buffon is miles ahead of his peers at. Free kicks and one-on-ones. I think we gave up one free kick goal this year but I can't remember the last one scored on him. Also on one-on-ones he always stands up to the last minute. Very few goalies can do this. Only when you get a sneaky SOB like Di Vaio who knows Buffon won't get chipped or beat anywhere but right inside the post, do they score.

Buffon is miles ahead of the other goal keeper, most of time he don't need the spectacular save because he's already waiting for the ball.

Casillas is nice but there's no other GK that's overrated like Valdez is.
