From all the times I watched him from barely remembering anything from his biggest moment in 86' to pretty much skipping the 1990 WC this match gotta be one of the most vivid memories I have of him. The goal was just absolute class and that celebration is one of those iconic moments I'll never forget. Batistuta was immense that day.

Looking at this video can't help but miss those days when a player received the ball and his first reaction was to move forward and create something, not to side or back pass. Watch that chemistry.

And those tackles? Straight up red cards in today's football yet just a foul back then. Nothing against the guy but Messi wouldn't have made it in those times, not a chance.

So no matter how many records the midget breaks to me Maradona will always be the greatest to come out of Argentina. Just like Pelé for Brazil, for what he did at the era that he did it. RIP Legend!
