And the way he did it. That semi-final thrashing of Hendry was both a pain and a beauty to watch. Incredible stuff really.

    True.
    Especially since Hendry played so great in the matches before the semi-final.
    I really thought he had a chance and then he gets humiliated like that.
    But it was nice to see Hendry play such a good snooker again (until the semi's that is)

    Indeed, thing is, you can't say Hendry played bad in the semi's. He started of well and didn't make that many mistakes, it's just that there was one player on the table after 4:4. Hendry stil tried and had some excellent long pots but he just couldn't do anything. O'Sullivan was simply unstoppable, Hendry himself said it was the best snooker he has ever seen. And that says it all really.

    Very true, to bad the level of the final was from a much lower standard, but still.

    I wonder if O'Sullivan will take a brake now, he declared he might take some time off now.

    I doubt it. He won't play as long as Hendry but he won't be leaving so soon. 2,3 more years of Ronnie, at least. But than again, you never know with him.
