Here is the squad i have called up for Euro 2008:

GOALKEEPERS: Buffon, Agliardi, Roma

DEFENDERS: Zaccardo, Oddo, Chiellini, Barzagli, Cannavaro, Zambrotta, Grosso

MIDFIELDERS: De Rossi, Pirlo, Gattuso, Camoranesi, Mauri, Rosina, Aquilani, Montolivo

ATTACKERS: Cassano, G.Rossi, Iaquinta, Amauri, Toni.

Most notable absentees:
-Del Piero: Had a shocking season at Juve where Iaquinta took his starting position forming a killer partnership with Trezeguet.
-Perrotta: Didnt do enough in friendlies and Serie A to convince me to call him up, Montolivo got the nod.
-Amelia: Injured
-Materazzi: Didnt play for Inter all season.
-Ambrosini: Didnt do enough in friendlies and Serie A to convince me to call him up.
-Quagliarella: Injured
-Di Natale: Didnt do enough in friendlies and Serie A to convince me to call him up.

Now let's see how i go... im aiming to reach the semi final at the least. :xfinger:

Awards: Pirlo was my best player with 3 goals and 3 assists. He was also chosen in the team of the tournament along with Zambrotta.

Unfortunately as you can see, i lost the final to France. Im pleased with my results. I didnt think id reach the final, the board are pleased and i keep my job. Now looking forward to 2010 World Cup. Alot of players will be facing the chop, as i will be bringing some young talent into the squad.

After losing the Euro 2008 final to France, i played in the Confederations Cup, here are my results:

Group Stage:
France 3-2 Italy
Barzagli, Trezeguet, Gattuso, Henry x2

Iraq 0-6 Italy
Montolivo, Barzagli, Amauri x3, Iraq OG

Italy 4-0 South Africa
Pirlo x3, Amauri

Semi Final:
U.S.A 1-3 Italy
Pozzi, Donovan, Chiellini, Gattuso

Final:
France 2-2 Italy*
Trezeguet x2, Rosina, Rocchi
Italy win 3-1 on Penalties

Now onto FIFA World Cup 2010 Qualifiers:
I finished top of the group, 4 points ahead of Turkey.
