I have Earthdesk as well. World satellite images on your desktop that update every minute. It's pretty cool as a meteorologist to have this as a background and watch the tropical cyclones develop without even having to use the mouse on my MacBook Pro.

Anyways, one of the most original desktops that I loved in this thread (and mimiced) was Gray's in the first post on this thread. He can be excused for using IE though, since this was in 2003
