I've said it last season that we probably wouldn't win the scudetto again because we wouldn't have the same hunger after winning it 3 times in a row.

Now Roma... I've often asked myself if they had the depth in the squad to win the domestic league and play as a big team in the CL. I think they'll fail when players start getting exhausted. They will give us a good fight to the end of the season though.
this is where Allegri's true managerial strength will come into question, will he capitalise on Roma's fatigue and upkeep Juve as a grinding machine? i have my doubts I think it will boil down as to who is more determined and hungrier this season in the same manner as we did under Conte's first season

Iturbe is an improvement on their team however you look at it, nainggolan has improved their team since last january and quite honestly im annoyed at how we missed out on him, astori and manolas - yes they may not exactly be to the class of benatia but they are, certainly of what ive seen of manolas so far very competent defenders, cole is an improvement too. I can't honestly say we've built on our success this summer in the same manner roma have closed the gap on us, don't forget they came 2nd with 85 points last season, that is good enough to win any league had it not been for our extraordinary record in the league last season, they will only go and replicate something like that if not better this season
Yes I am saying that too. They are buying expensive players and eventually they will win something maybe not this year but in near future.Meanwhile we are just trying to buy players on a free transfer .Morata is an exception and maybe he can contribute to this team but my point was that with more-less same team we can not expect to win every year.

Imagine now, if Roma make it through their group, and we get knocked out of ours... and then they win the league and we come 2nd. Meltdown!
So it should.

Allegri's touch is starting to shine through on the team, and it's not pretty, at all.

This was against the team coming last with a rubbish defence. I expect a really poor performance and probably loss against Olympiakos, we've been warming up to it for the last 3 games.

The lack of attacking threat and careless play will be a sight to watch.

What a $#@!ing stinking pile of horse $#@! that was.

Llorente is playing like a retard, Evra is a retard, pirlo was clueless, pereyra can't kick a ball , licht did nothing..... If we see a performance like that on Wednesday were back in the Europa league
I would probably bank on it. There is no indication this team is any better than last year. And this group in the CL is even weaker than last year.

There's no point in playing 433 when we don't have proper wingers. Coman was horrible and Giovinco should have been subbed in 20 minutes earlier. Morata has to start the next game instead of Llorente who continues to play like horse$#@!.
Llorente was never that good to begin with.

Fair result. Credit to Sassuolo, they played really tight throughout the match and didn't make many mistakes.
Thank you. That was far more intelligent than simply cursing Sassuolo to death like others did here.

Woeful performance. Sloppy passing everywhere. And for people who are jerking off about Coman. Youth and promise does not equal effectiveness on the field. Should be loaned out as soon as possible.

Sassuolo had conceded 12 goals before this game, we only managed to score once. Shameful.
So you have seen Coman play twice, one time was a success, the other was a failure. But you already want to send him on loan?

That is pathetic.

Every team shows up against us, maybe because every player hopes to get a transfer to Juve
Or maybe we just aren't as good as people here think? Ever thunk of that, ya goddamnit?

I think our sluggish performance is do to the international break. We rarely do well straight after breaks.

The worst thing about tonight's performance for me was that we failed to control the game. Most of the time it looked rather hectic. No clear idea up front, Pirlo was extremely bad, Llorente as much as I like him tonight was attrocious, Ogbonna played like crap when moved into LB slot, almost cost us a goal, Chiellini looked sluggish, lately his standard. Only bright ones were Pogba, Pereyra and Tevez.

So far we have been missing Vidal and Pirlo (injuries and form) which are our best two players. These two are the most influential players in the world in that position and both are our major strength point especially when we are playing the 3-5-2. Pogba's improvement is making up for them but if Allegri can get those two performing to their usual standard while maintaining Pogba's growth then we will be more than fine.

As long as Allegri can get Vidal and Pirlo back to form we shouldnt be worried.

We dropped 2 points. So what? We can't win every single game. However, the manner of the performance is worrying. We need to be sharper and far more aggressive on Wednesday. CL games are played at a faster pace and we can't afford lapses in concentration or mini brain farts.
