Exaggerated optimism is misplaced. Roma are capable of playing good football when they want to.

They will see this match as a great way of getting their season back on track with a new coach. They won't need any extra motivation.

I don't see it as misplaced, they can play good football, but they also most of the time bend over when facing Juve and they're not going through a good period at the moment.

It's up to how Juve handle this match, since we're going off a strong performance in the Champions League. If we don't have a hangover, I expect us to thrive in this one.

Months ago I was planning on making the trip over to Rome with my dad to watch this. I was looking forward to seeing Marchisio the most, and all my dad wanted to do was scream insults at Zeman. Luckily we didn't end up following through, as neither of them will even be there.

Anyways, I hope we kill this game off in the first half. Going to miss it because of work (Saturday games :sergio: ) But we're undefeated in games that I've missed out on. Hopefully the streak continues.

2-1 scoreline. Vidal & Vucinic. Lamela for them

Didn't we end up losing to Meelan after we knocked off Chelsea 3-0? The same thing better not happen this time with Celtic and Roma

Roma has conceded 10 goals in last 3 games (they played Bologna, Cagliari and Sampdoria).

For this match Gazzetta is predicting 3-5-2 for them, with these defence: Marqunhos - Burdisso - Taddei. That is probably the worst 3-man defence in Serie A right now.

We shouldn't underestimate them at their stadium, but IMO everything points out to an easy Juve win.

Question: Why are Juve playing Roma on a Saturday when both don't have mid-week games for next week? We could've had an extra day after our trip to Glascow.

I'm guessing it is down to Inter, Lazio and Napoli all playing in the Europa league, so they get the Sunday and Monday slots.

And then they decided to put it on a Saturday evening instead of the Sunday lunchtime kickoff for the dollar.

If we had to play at the same time as another game, no one would watch that game...hence why we always play 'alone' :p
